Jungkook felt exactly how he had felt two years ago when he had found the remains of Hana's car and no sign of her anywhere. He could feel the darkness calling at him from somewhere at the depth of his soul, his wolf wanted to be let out free and cause destruction, unlike anything the universe had ever seen before.

The pull to succumb to madness was compelling but he couldn't be like his aunt and give in to it because right now if he failed to be a competent King, mate, and brother, the entire werewolf race would fall down and he wouldn't be able to save his mate and his daughter. Yoongi holding Namjoon's stiff form was all it took for him to be strong and get ready for vengeance.

Gulping down the salty liquid that was trying to come out in the form of tears he asked, "Did you find how they broke in?"

"Yes, according to our investigation, Jackson summoned them." Sehun bowed down shamefully. If only their wolves hadn't let Jackson out of the castle after his fight with Taehyung this would have never happened. He thought that this was revenge for what Taehyung did to him.

There it was that man "Jackson" again, at last, every single one of the problems seemed to be caused due to him. Jungkook could feel some kind of call at the back of his mind that he was disregarding something very important regarding Jackson but he neglected it thinking he had more pressing matters at hand.

This time even Ayato didn't have to urge or tempt him to have evil thoughts, once that arrogant vampire was in his hands he was going to inflict so much pain to him that even hell would seem like heaven to him.

"Contact Ittipath and all the other Alphas, inform them that the war has started but it isn't with the vampires but the Demon queen, tell the family members of the dead soldiers that we will have a funeral only after we get revenge. Make all preparations ready for battle and send out a search team with So Hyun to track Saya. She is Hana's opposite Demon queen so it shouldn't be difficult, inform her that her sister and niece have been taken by the queen she is running from."

Sehun remained still in shock as he listened to Jungkook's instructions, he didn't even blink as his mind was too busy processing all the things revealed to him.

After Sehun left, Jungkook stood in front of Yoongi, Namjoon, and his crying sister-in-law and took a deep breath in and closed his golden eyes before breathing out and opening them.

Holding both sides of Namjoon's shoulders he tried to get his brother-in-law's attention and when Namjoon slowly looked at him he said, "Until this war is over, we are not going to mourn over the dead or be broken down no matter how helpless the situation seems. Jin hyung is still alive and until the moon goddess doesn't take away the last breath from him I won't believe in the doctor's words because no human has the ability to say how much life a person has, so we shouldn't lose hope."

Yoongi nodded his head and gave a barely-there smile to Jungkook while sniffing once. Veronica wiped her tears and squeezed Namjoon's arm joining in to give him some strength. "Yes, this isn't the time to be weak. Doing that will only give an advantage to our enemies. We need to bring justice to everyone who has fought for the sake of our family."

Namjoon was gradually feeling better and hopeful with the support of his family. He could almost hear Jin telling him to listen to them and pull his shit together.

They heard loud footsteps and suddenly Namjoon was pulled into a manly hug.

"I'm so sorry that I came so late. If... If only I was here." Hoseok cried loudly, he felt terribly guilty for not being there in the fight with his brothers.

"If only I was there then maybe Jin hyung wouldn't have been in that state. It would have been much better if it was me instead of hyung in that condition." He thought, scolding fate for giving him a mate at such bad timing.
