Dear Lukas,

It's been several months since my first and second letter and I'm kinda confused. You should have at least gotten the first letter around two months ago. Lukas, I know we have had several fights and we did not split in a pleasant way, but I need to know if you are doing okay with your brother.

It's pretty warm around here now. It's almost summer and Tino is out of college for the year now. I started to get back in contact with them. We went out to dinner after I ran into them at Barnes & Noble. It was a pretty (very) awkward situation. I was browsing the travel aisle when suddenly a couple rows over in the non-fiction section I see Berwald's head peeking out above the bookcase. I casually walked over there and intentionally pissed Berwald off by flirting with Tino. Tino, though, obviously not impressed, just crossed his arms and stared. Berwald just punched me in the face. It was expected though. This resulted into a group hug and awkward greetings. Nevertheless, I stayed with them for a week or so. I told them about my trip to Germany (which I will soon tell to you) and they continued to remind me of the financial risks. It was a normal family reunion except the fact that you weren't there. Berwald and I got into several fights. Tino shamed the shit out of me and then Hanatamago bit my arm. It was a fabulous week.

Also, I hope you will answer my questions because in their house, the subject or even mention of your name, makes the two very silent. After a while if questioning, they admitted the last time they were in contact with you was when you left. This, if you forgot, was the last time I saw you. I understand you were mad at me, so I know if you don't want to ever talk to me again, but Tino and Berwald had nothing to do with this. With our problems. You are a selfish person and I hope you realize this.

Now, Germany. The Alfred, Gilbert, and I took a plane to Munich, Germany, for that is where Gilbert's relatives had lived. We did get to see the Berlin Wall (well, what remained) and we also got to design our own graffiti template. We then got to spray paint it. It was an amazing time. Since we were in Germany, we rented a van drove to Poland. We didn't reach the capital, we just stayed within a couple mile radius of the border and absorbed the fabulousness.

On the plane ride back, Gilbert was scolded by an old man for listening to Pitbull without his headphones. I couldn't blame the man though. I wanted to sleep on the way home as well. Also Pitbull sucks.

I don't know what I'm planning to do over summer. I'm not planning on traveling. I'm aiming to get a higher paying job over break. I'm avoiding going to school as much as possible. School is so much money and debt and I can't take that risk. I honestly don't know how Tino and Berwald manage. Berwald has a pretty steady job as a mechanic. (Pretty snazzy right?). But yeah. That's my goal. Wow. Well, you gotta start somewhere. Alright Lukas, I'll write to you soon.

Sincerely,
Matthias

Hey, guys. I hope you've stuck with me this far. You may have seen the Tumblr post about how someone writes letters to their lover or friend and then they get into an accident and stuff happens. Don't judge. Mine is nothing like that. Alright, guys, thanks.

-Anya.
