Zechariah and I didn't have any choice, so we took the room.

I’m currently putting a betadine on knees, while sitting on a soft mattress, wearing a Mustard pajamas that I requested on the Royalty staff. While Zechariah was on the terrace, using my phone to make a call with someone. And I doubt that someone is Ylona Aerie.

I let out a long sigh of despair.

This is not part of the plan. I should arrive on the Maharlika safe and sound. Not get kicked out of the buss, almost get into an accident and get rodded! Maybe this is a sign? That I couldn't continue this quest of mine. I should go back to the Navarro Family...

“What happened to your knees, Miss?” Zechariah suddenly appeared. Concern was written on Zechariah’s face.

“Nothing... ” I smiled and act as if it's nothing.

I don't really want to talk about it.

His brow shut, not satisfied of what I said.

“It’s really nothing,” sabi ko ang inayos ang aking pajama upang matakpan ang aking tuhod.

“Then why does It look like you're hurt.”

I sigh.

“May I remind you we just got rodded. Some of my stuff are gone and... ” I trailed off.

I sigh. “This is just so messed up. I should go back.”

Zechariah sat on the couch near on the terrace, where the living area is. “That quick? You barely even started your quest. Just sleep, you're just tired.”

Maybe I am.

“And hungry,” I added and faced Zechariah.

“The room service will be here in a minute... ” he said.

Zechariah was sitting on the couch while texting or whatever his doing on my phone. His lips form in a thin line preventing himself to smile.

His probably flirting with Ylona Aerie. He's a playboy. I wonder where is Gamila’s mother... I think he's divorce and they are just co-parenting since Zechariah doesn't look like he's committed to someone. He's so flirty.

I checked the time on my wrist watch and it's six-thirty on the evening.

The doorbell rings. I stand up and opened the door. A guy wearing a dark blue uniform come in, his pushing a tray full of foods and one pitcher iced tea.

“Room service, Ma’am and Sir.” The staff placed our foods on the living area.

“Enjoy your meal.” He bowed.

“Thank you.” I smiled, expressing my gratitude.

The guy faced me and shyly smile back. “You’re w-welcome, Ma’am.” After that he walk away.

Umupo ako sa carpet kong saan malapit ang pag-kain. Mababa ang lamesa kaya mag comfortable umupo sa carpet.

Zechariah ordered medium rare steak. This is good with red wine. But... technically I'm with a stranger right now and alcohol is not an option. Good thing, he just ordered iced tea.

Nilingon ko si Zechariah at busy ito sa pag-pindot-pindot sa aking telepono.

“Let’s eat?” yaya ka.

He nodded but his eyes were still on the phone.

I shrugged my shoulder and sliced my steak into pieces. And start eating.

Hmm... the steak is so juicy and flavorful.

Zechariah sat beside me and started slicing his steak. We're silently eating until Zechariah broke the silence. “I just remember. Where are you supposed to go?”
