Montergo Series II: No Way Home

KABANATA 6

Isang mahabang buntong hininga ang aking pinakawalan habang pinag-mamasdan ang buong condominium. Mr. Navarro rented me a condo in Grass Residence. The Grass Residence has an apartment and condominiums for rent.  At first Mr. Navarro wanted to buy a condominium while I'm staying here in Maharlika but I refuse, so he just insisted that he'll rented me a condominium instead. I couldn't refused him again because he will buy a condo If I refuse his second offer. A rented condo doesn't cost so much rather than buying one, so I choose the latter. I owe him big time for all of this.

Malinis ang buong Condominium at sobrang lawak. The theme of the Condo is vintage, most of the color of the place were neutral which really good. Sobrang sarap sa mata. Plus it looks cozy. There are three rooms of the Condo. One master bedroom, and two guest room.

I walk towards to living area where you can see the whole city since my condo is on the top floor and it was fully glazed walls opening on to terraces that offer fine views. I put my stuff on the floor and walk closer to the glass wall.

My lips twisted into a smile.

What a spectacular view.

I blew the air out of my lungs to the glass wall which make it blurry, then draw something on it. It's a three stick people. Two adult and a girl in the middle.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “Please, Dear God, help me find my parents. That's the only thing I wish... ”

I slowly opened my eyes and kiss the glass wall where I draw my family.

My eyes wander around the condo, and sigh. I should unpack my stuff right now, so I could visit the Orphanage this evening...

Mag-ha-hapon na nang matapos kong ma-i-ayos ang aking mga gamit sa bago kong magiging k’warto. I immediately lay my body on the soft mattress.

My phone suddenly rang.

It's Thaddeus...

I took I deep breath before answering it. “Hello, Thaddeus?”

“Hey, I’m sorry, I was just really busy last night and I didn't get a chance to call you but guess what? I have a good news!” Excited is very evident on Thaddeus voice.

Unconsciously my lips stretched into a smile. “It’s okay. You don't have to explain. By the way, what good news?”

“Guess it,” ani Thaddeus.

What happened while I was gone?

“Uhm... Delancy and Norman broke up?” I let out a silly laugh.

Thaddeus never really like the dude, Norman. Frankly, he doesn't really like all the guys his little sister dated.

Thaddeus chuckle softly. “Tss, I hope so. But you're wrong.”

“Just spill it out, Thaddeus.”

“Ini-atras nang Senator ang kaso. Dad and I will make a further announcement about the incident next week!” Thaddeus cheerfully explain.

Bigla akong tumayo. “Oh, my! That's a great news. I never doubt you could do it!”

“Yes. But... it's going to be hard to win the people's trust after accident. So, we need to upgrade the resort and be more strict about the policy, so the accident won't happen again,” ani Thaddeus.

I nodded even though he can't see me.

He's right. Everything won't be the same after the accident. The Paradise need to upgrade more for the guest safety. And they also need to make another gimmick to get the people's attention again in a positive perspective.
