The white sport car is getting nearer and nearer until it's 10 meter away from me, then everything went black... because I closed my eyes, ready of what's going to happen next.

Curiosity strike upon me when I didn't feel any strong impact. I slowly opened my eyes. The white sport car is six meter close from me.

I gasp. For a moment I thought I'm gonna die, and it scares me that I open my arms to embrace death without thinking.

A man got off the car.

“What the f*ck, Miss?! Are you tryin’ to get yourself killed?!” the mans cold voice thundered.

His baritone voice sent shiver down to my spine which made me feel uneasy.

“M-Mar...” He trailed off said. But after a few second he shook his head and swallowed hard. He looks like he just saw a ghost.

The strangers closed our distance more, then kneeled in front of me.

“Are you okay, Miss?” Nagtatakang tanong niya.

I averted his piercing brown orbs. “I’m under my bed.”

“What?” Puno nang pagtataka niya akong tinignan.

“I-I’m under my bed.” I close my eyes and tried to catch my breath.

I suddenly flinch when to man hold both of my shoulder.

“No! Please, don't hurt me!” sigaw ko at pilit kuma-kawala sa kaniyang pag-ka-kahawak.

“Shh! I'm gonna hurt you—”

“No! Please! Don't!” sigaw ko.

The stranger hold my chin with his big calloused hand.

“Breath, okay? I'm not gonna hurt you, just breathe. Please...” he utter while staring straight to my eyes.

“Breath... ” mahinang saad ng lalaki.

I take a several deep breath because I feel like I'm running out of air.

He's eye feel like talking to my soul which somehow ease me.

The stranger suddenly hug me. There's something about this strangers warm hug that makes me more emotional.

We've stayed in that position for minutes until I calm down, and my breathing become stable.

He gave me a hand. “Stand up, the road is dirty.”

I feel a shame of what the stranger just witnessed.

I feel so drain.

I lifted my head to faced the stranger. Curiosity and longing is written on his face.

“I-I’m sorry,” I awkwardly apologized and bowed.
