-- Casey's POV --
I couldn't take it in any further so i allowed myself to step back away from Laila, giving us distance. "That is the truth. And i'm sorry so i'll learn from my mistake and it won't happen again." I explained. Looking at her like i'm the most innocent living being that cries every time she gets yelled at.
"Casey." Her lips went up to a slight smile while she dragged my name out. Her legs lead her closer to me but i kept stepping back, eventually my back hitting the same wall.
"You were partying? Drinking in the middle of the week, right?" She stopped her body in front of me, my knees growing weak from remembering the last time i was in this situation.
"Just a little but it won't happen again, i promise." I pushed the words out, in the need for her to understand and just let me go before i break apart even further. "I don't believe in promises. Everyone confesses them just to get themselves clean, darling."
Now i completely lost it. Laila calling me darling?
Would you just fuck me already.
Grab me by my thighs and lift me up, bang me against the wall with a strap until i can't walk anymore.
"Listen, if it happens again..." She stepped even closer, our bodies coming in touch that made me want to run away before i do anything dumber. "I won't let you leave without consequences." Her fingers brushed right against the skin on my neck.
I honestly haven't realized that i purposely pressed myself closer to her, the perfume filling my nose. I knew i might be making myself obvious from the fact that i like this encounter so i gathered myself and tried to slide away from the wall.
Yet it didn't stop there because she had grabbed the side of my waist, putting me back in place. I felt high, not even sure if it's from the stress or how physically drained i was. But only now i took note of her being even closer, the confusion flying over me on what it was that i felt pressed against my core.
Her hands were visible in my view so it can't be that. Her eyes were glaring at me like she's waiting for me to say something. "Do you understand?" Her breath brushed against my lips as she asked. Sending pure shivers down my body.
Before i could say anything back yet, she pinned me even more, now intensely feeling a bulge against my area. Questions raised through my mind if i was feeling this right. I knew i was hot already, the effect she gives me drives me mad. "Stop enjoying this and tell me if you understand the consequences that you'll get for being late ever again." Laila broke the silence apart again, making me even more embarrassed on what the hell i am doing right now.
"Yes, miss. I understand. Won't happen again." I blurred my confession out immediately but she didn't let me move yet. I wanted to fucking leave so badly because this is so wrong, completely away from normal but just than a knock came at the door, making Laila's attention drop on it.
She released me as i could finally take in a breath of relieve from the tensed atmosphere but Laila welcomed in whoever knocked.
"Miss, you have a guest that would like to speak to you." The front desk girl had stepped in, glancing at the both of us but not showing any emotions. "Welcome them in." Laila abruptly said as the strong figure walked in.
"Nice to meet you once again, Ms. Florin." The man reached his hand out, shaking hers. "Right, Mr. Outwoods, didn't expect you here." Laila had replied back.
The girl had soon disappeared from the view, giving me every chance to leave but i was stopped once again.
Just let me go!
"Casey?" The guy had taken my attention. I knew i was lost for a second since i had no clue how he knows my name and who this asshole is. "Sorry but i think i know you. You're Natalie's friend, right?" He had turned his body to look at me. "Yes? And how does it happen that you know Natalie?" Pure confusion went over me as i crossed my arms at him.
--
I turned the laptop off and grabbed my bag. My work for today had finally ended and i indeed had to stay in since i missed tons of tasks to take care of in the morning.Close to 8 pm by now and i stepped out of my office, closing the door behind and making my way to the elevator. I pressed the first floor but before the doors shut, a guy ran up, reaching his arm in to step in the elevator himself in time.
"Sorry." He chuckled out at me, giving me a look as i noticed that it was the same guy from just hours ago. "Wait, you're Alex right?" I gave him a pleasant smile to seem nice. "Right. Alex Outwoods, same as this morning."
The aura he gave off was disgusting already. No offense to him being friends with Natalie but for him to come in contact with me now, hell no!
"But actually, maybe you're down to grab a coffee with me after the meeting tomorrow? Would be lovely to get to know you more." He kept a conversation going as the elevator took it's sweet ass time to go down.
"I'll think about it. Either way i have to organize the meeting and take care of it afterwards so low chances to hang out with anyone." I gave him a quick glance to be polite.
"I guess i'll ask tomorrow than. See you than." His hand landed on my shoulder, tapping it and stepping out the elevator. I took a second to stay in, feeling utterly grossed out but i made my way out the building.
