In the city of Pompey, on what would usually be a night filled with bloodlust, sex, and alcohol, we have the gathering of 13 noble sires making a decision that could change the lives of many vampires.

"So before we leave here tonight, we have to make a sure decision," Aya said, sipping on her Pinot Noir. Tristan had brought to the group's attention that a witch in New Orleans had been working on a spell that could de-sire vampires and free them of the curse of having to protect their sires, or it would lead to death.

So for the past few weeks, they have been on whether or not they should have this witch help them.

"The Mikealson family has been on top of the hierarchy for centuries; it is time for that to change so we can be free and move this world forward in our image," a blond vampire known as Oskar said to Aya's right.

"Yes, but if we go forward and this fails, we would have sealed our fates. I think we should just have someone meet with this witch and see how sure she is," an ember-haired vampire named Nahum said. The others murmured in agreement, except Aya and Tristan.

"Are we sure Lucien is telling the truth? Why would he give us this information so easily?" Ethan asked.

"I have known Lucien all my life; we have no loyalty to each other, but he would not lie about this," Tristan said.

"How did he get this information before we did?" Oskar asked

"He got it from some wolves in the area," Tristan said.

"Should we be?" someone started to ask Aya before interrupting them.

"That's enough questions; it's time to make a decision." Aya said growing tired of this debate.

"All in favour of going forward with the spell?" Aya asked, and 11 raised their hands.

"Good, we will move forward with Lucien and Tristan's plan," Oskar said.

"And who will be recruiting the witch?" Nahum asked

"We will have one of our witches meet with her so they can connect," Tristan said with a grin on his face.

Aya nodded. She was still having doubts about betraying Elijah, but if it all worked out, she would finally be free of him.

Bonnie sat on her mat, fully dressed. Something was telling her she should shuffle her cards before she left to go by the Mikealson's. As she began to shuffle her cards, two cards flew out. She put them back in and shuffled again. The same two cards, temperance and two of swords, jumped out. Bonnie shook her head and said, Let's do it one more time. She shuffled the cards, and this time five cards came out.

The two of swords, temperance, the ten of wands in reverse, the three of pentacles, and the devil in reverse. She took out her golden and black oracle cards for more clarity. She shuffled them; the first card said believe in your magic and it will believe in you, and the last one said lean on someone you trust. She knew they were basically telling her that she should find a balance between helping and asking for help, or she wouldn't find the balance she needed to live the life she wanted.

Bonnie decided to get her Telfar bag and place her vision journal, it was filled with random numbers, animals or even jewelry most of what she had seen already on her journey here or when was roaming New Orleans, she also got the bracelet she has been using to keep her magic in check since she was back and a grimoire Freya asked to borrow. Once she knew she had everything she needed, she left home.

The moment she arrived at Mikealson's Mausoleum , she barely had time to go greet Freya and give her the things she had for her, when Hope ran up and jumped into her arms, almost making them fall to the ground like the first time they met.
