Bonnie looked away from her work and saw Lucy texted her to call her immediately. Lucy never texted directly on her phone so she knew something was wrong, she got up from her bed and looked out the door to make sure the girls weren't in the hallway, she heard them talking downstairs.

The house was quiet except for their voices projecting into her room. She closed her door and picked up her phone to call Lucy.

"Bonnie," Lucy said the minute the phone, her voice that's usually deep with hints of softness was high pitched and scared.

"Lucy, are you okay?" Bonnie asked, "Is something happening?"

" I did this spell and now they are trying to kill me," she said, she wanted to cry. This was to be a simple spell and she got some money but it went eerie when the spell was completed and they refused to give her the rest of her money. Everything in her told her to get out of there so she ran, and they let her go but she knew they'd come for her. she was home afraid to leave because noone knew where she lived besides Bonnie.

"Who's trying to kill you?" Bonnie asked, but Lucy couldn't form any more sentences, she was a complete mess on the phone, Bonnie was able to eventually calm her down.

"Look, I'll come for you a few days okay?" she told Lucy to reassure her, "Just hold tight for me and we'll see how we can deal with the situation together."

"Thank you, Bonnie, I really didn't want to bother you but I just needed someone to talk to," Lucy said, she hated having to receive help from her younger cousin, especially with the last few years she had, she didn't know the full details but the last time she left her in Mystic Falls it was bad.

"Lucy, we're family, of course, you can talk to me anytime." Bonnie said, "We Bennetts are very few these days, so we have to stick together." Bonnie assured her. They spent a few more minutes on the phone Lucy wanted to know how the girls were and how classes were going for her and she thanked Bonnie again.

Bonnie decided she would try to cast a protection spell from here if she can but on her way to her spell room, she heard the girls talking to someone, she went into the living room to see it was Klaus. He looked at her and smiled.

"When did you get here?" she asked him, she was surprised the girls didn't immediately go to their rooms cause Amaka avoids him like the plague, Hiwa's gift somehow made her think that she was safe around him but Amaka was still sceptical.

He came up to her and to kiss her causing the girls to erupt in giggles mainly Hiwa.

"I heard you on the phone so, I decided to play with the girls a bit," he said and she nodded, she looked at the time and see it was pass the girls' bedtime.
"Amaka, you girls should get ready for bed, don't need you being grouchy on me tomorrow," she said.

"But he was just telling us about his time in India," Amaka said pouting, "Please let him finish and I'll make breakfast tomorrow," Bonnie sighed and looked over to Klaus, she didn't mind him telling his story but she didn't like the idea of Amaka thinking she needs to trade labour to get something in return.

"Fine, You guys do that while I'm in my room," she wanted to stay for the story but she also needed to do the spell as soon as possible. Klaus had different ideas though, he sat on the chair and pulled her down on his lap, not letting Bonnie go, he continued the story, capturing the attention of his little audience and making them feel like they were there with him in that time. When he was finished the girls peacefully went to bed.

Bonnie got up from his embrace and towards her witch's room. She started to look for a spellbook which could help her, she even gave Klaus a book a put him to work.
