capítulo once

Nick asked me what was wrong but I just said nothing and left the kitchen.

We were now sitting in Nick's car waiting for Anna. She walked to the passenger seat door where I was sitting and looked at Nick waiting for him so say something.

I looked at her: „I'll move." I wanted to open the door but Nick spoke up: „No need, we're in a rush."

I looked at him as anna sat in the back next to Mario.

While Nick was driving, Mario asked me: „Hey, Rowan. The race the other day was awesome. We're did you learn how to drive like that?"

I answered him: „I'd rather forget that night."

Anna answered him: „Her dad was a rally driver. She has a photo on Insta."

Mario said: „Oh really? Is he good? Is he still competing?"

I answered: „He died. He stepped to hard on the gas."

Mario said in a low voice: „I'm sorry."

I looked at Nick: „And you Nick? How did you get involved with the gang world?"

He said that he didn't wanna talk about it so anna spoke for him: „He was a child without his mothers love so he ran away. He wanted to be a rebel." Nick said that it was enough but anna talked again: „His dad canceled his credit cards, and in Mexico, he met Lion, who taught him how to live dangerously. In return he hooked up with his best friend."

Now we came to Anna's past and Nick told how she was their classic school bully.

Soon we arrived at a hall and we excited the car. Anna gave me a death stare at she walked before us.

I walked to Nick: „So I need to get to know you better, right?"

Nick answered: „That was a long time ago."

He wanted to walk away but I stopped him and took a toy car out of my pocket: „I owed you a car."

I hold it up to him smiling and he took it out of my hands: „It's perfect, you can't drive this one. — although you in that outfit was the best gift of my life."

I laughed: „I was thinking of giving you a poetry book, but that's not really your thing."

I tried to walk away, but Nick took my hand and took me to a corner.

I whined: „No, I don't want Anna to rip my eyeballs out."

He whispered: „This had never happened with Anna, or anyone else. — it's the first time I can't control myself."

I looked around: „Mario is waiting for me."

He asked annoyed: „What the hell does he want from you."

I answered: „All I know is when he sees me, he smiles."

Nick said: „You're going to spend your life with that smile?" „Until our faces hurt."

Nick whispered: „You know that guy has no blood in his veins. He can't give you what you need."

I questioned in a low voice: „And what do I need."

He came closer to my mouth and kissed me while his hand rode up my thigh. He whispered: „You don't need kisses. You need volcanic eruptions in your mouth."

He kissed me again and rode his hand to my underwear: „You don't need gentle caresses, but hands that claw deeply enough to make you shiver."

Nick pulled my ear into his mouth: „Whispered breath that make you feel faint."

He finally found his way to my middle and pushed a finger inside of me.

I moaned quietly as he added a second finger.

He whispered on my lips: „You don't need pleasure, you need trembling."

I moaned louder when he moved his fingers faster and kissed my neck.

We heard a car coming so we separated from each other. We saw Lion and Jenna getting out of the car.

Nick turned to me and asked: „Well? Was that poetic enough for you?" I smiled up at him.

Lion told us how he got a new car for the race, which was from Jenna and that he added 100 horsepower's and that he could borrow it.

Jenna said to me: „After that beating up and what you were doing to him babe. He won't have the strength to fight."

I slowed down a little: „Fight?"

We walked into the arena, were guys were beating each other up. I walked up to Nick: „Nick stop, that's nonsense!"

Nick smiled: „Don't you think it's exciting?" „Getting exited getting hurt?"

He kept on smiling: „Pain doesn't bother me." I asked him: „What about the other guy, huh? Do you feel pleasure hurting other people?"

He looked at me curiously: „No, I just simply enjoy fighting."

I looked at him: „And I simply don't get it."

He looked at: „It's a way for me to let of steam." I questioned: „From what? What fucking Trauma do you have, that you have to do this Nick?"

He stared at me while Anna came between us: „Leave him alone, I'm so sick and tired of you."

I walked back to Mario and Jenna and watched Nick getting in the middle of the arena right before the other guy.

Nick gave a few punches and as soon as I saw them, tears were dangerously close to falling.

I walked out with Mario following me. I saw girls getting excited about Nick fighting and complained, how to like something like this. I asked Mario how if he knew about this.

He admitted that he did. Mario looked into my eyes: „Forget about all that, okay? It's not worth it — Thank you for asking me if I wanted to come with you, it made me so happy."

I wanted to answer him but as soon as a few words left my mouth, Mario kissed me on my mouth.

I was so in shock that I didn't had time to react before Nick pushed him to the ground: „If you ever but your hands on her again, I'll break them."

I pushed my hands agains Nicks chest asking him what that was before wanting to help Mario but he refused it and walked away.

I turned back to Nick: „What the fuck are you doing?."

He looked at me: „I don't know, I've never felt jealous of anyone freckles. You drive me crazy."

I looked at him with tears in my eyes: „And that's all your able to offer me huh? This can't happen ever again."

Nick stood before me with ahelpless look: „I swear I won't do it again."

I looked at him: „No nothing can happen between us. Never again."

I tried walking away but Nick grabbed my arms with a hard grip: „What? Why? What's the matter?"

I look at his hands: „What are you doing, that hurts."

He started screaming: „All you do is mess around. You say yes and than no. What is wrong with you?"

I started sobbing silently: „Can't you see Nick, I'm scared."

He came closer: „Scared of what? Apart from the dark, like a little girl?"

I looked at him and pointed to his hands that still had a tight grip on my arms: „Of you. — I can't have another violent person in my life Nick."

When he finally put his hands away from me Jenna and Lion came up to us and asked if I needed a ride home.

I walked away from Nick and Jenna followed me.
