capitulo doce

I walked away from Nick and Jenna followed me.

The following week I started as a waitress and had to service Nick and Anna.

We ignored each other as much as we could. I got a car and Mortimer and 2 other servants were helping me filling it with sticky notes for a party.

Thor came up to me and I petted him, when Nick walked past us telling Thor to come.

I looked after him.

In that night were I had to serve Nick I took a plate from a table and saw another note laying there.

At home I looked at it: „I'm very close now. Can you feel the pain of my presence?"

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and put the napkin in the box with the other letters.

At the evening when I was at the party me and Jenna played beer pong.

I throw the ball and missed the cup, Mario who stood against a girl caught it and throw the ball back to me.

Jenna looked at me: „That guys all bark but no bite huh?"

I laughed at that.

„Where are all the cool guys who whisper you sweet things?"

Nick called me and I declined: „Those guys don't exist."

Lion came to Jenna kissed her and said: „I like you on fire babe."

After he left she turned to me: „See, why can't they say "I love you"?

I told her while throwing a ball: „They all say "I love you" before sleeping with you, but what they really mean is "I desire you."

Jenna said: „Exactly!"

I turned to her: „Of course, then they cum and go quit. Wrong. You have to say it after! That's when it means something, not before you know."

She answered: „That's very, very deep Rowan."

I nodded my head: „Thank you."

I throwed a ball and it again didn't go in.

After a while we went outside in the pool and talked.

I said: „You gotta have a pimped car but the party is indoors? That's absurd."

Jenna came to me: „Since Nick doesn't come anymore. the fun is over."

I sighed: „Should we get out of here?"

Now we were on our way outside and I found a flower were I puked in it a little.

Jenna told me that I would not drive today anymore. She called Nick and told him that we were getting a taxi but he was already behind us. 

What we not realized was the person watching us.

Nick came to me: „you okay, Freckles?"

I pushed him off: „Me, sure I can drive perfectly, you don't even need a license to drive these."

Jenna told him: „You know this bullshit she's pulling is because of you right."

I looked over my car looking for the handle while realizing: „I forgot my blazer. I'll be right back."

I heard Jenna's voice: „She's been acting like this for two weeks. Don't you think it's time to apologize already?"

Nick said: „You're a good friend."

I screamed: „She's a total snitch!"

I walked inside the house to a table looking around.

Anna asked: „What are you looking for?"

I answered: „My blazer."

She told me: „It's in the closet."

I looked up and walked besides her opening the closet. I felt a push on my back and soon the door closet behind me.

I knocked on the door: „Anna! Anna, No! Open the door! Please!"

She told me through the door: „Are you looking for the light switch or what?"

I heard her laughing with her friends and kept on screaming: „Please, this isn't fucking funny anna!"

She said: „The door got a bit stuck."

I screamed: „Anna, Help, open the door!"

I moved around and suddenly saw my father standing before me: „Nobody ist going to help. Where's your mother? Where. is. your mother?" He pointed a nice at me.

I pushed at the door: „Anna! Open up!"

I feel through the door and fell into Nicks arm. He hugged me close to his body asking concerned: „What happened?"

I told against his chest: „He's in there."

I looked in the closet: „No one's in there."

Jenna pushed Anna and screamed: „You're a fucking monster."

I heard anna say: „Come on relax, it was just a prank."

Nick helped me in his car and soon we were driving home. I pulled my knees to my chest and looked outside the window.

Now I was laying naked in my bed with Nick sitting on the edge of it.

He said: „Why did you tell me your dad was dead?"

I told him: „Because to me he is dead. I hope he rots in jail.

Nick wanted to leave but I turned my head in his direction: „Please, don't leave Nick."

My body was shaking and soon Nick took of his shirt, came behind me and took hugged me with his strong arms.

I turned my head towards him: „Why do you always make it so hard for me to hate you?"

I wanted to kiss him, but he tilt his head back saying: „I wanna do everything to you, and you know it. But not until that fear has disappeared from your eyes."

I turned back around and gave his face little slaps: „You're very sweet, Very cute."

I grapped his hands and soon after darkness surrounded me, so I didn't hear Nick wanting to ask me a question about my father.
