"Kerrigan," Keenan whispered to me, late that night.
"What," I groaned out, my face buried in my pillow.
"What would you do if I told you that I brought a cat home?" He asked.

"Okay, as long as you're cool with it. Can you help me find a place to put it until I can tell dad?"
I shot up from my bed, sending my twin brother a sleepy glare. My bedroom was dimly lit, but I could still see his hopeful, cheesy grin. Then, he pouts his bottom lip out, so I groan and get out of my bed.
