Today is the day, and I couldn't be more nervous. Michael was supposed to be landing in half an hour, and we were five minutes away from the airport. I mean we as in my dad and Keenan.

They insisted on driving me to the airport, and driving us back to the house. As much as I wanted privacy with Michael, I knew that this was probably for the best. Knowing my skills, I would probably end up crashing if i tried to drive home. Michael makes me nervous and girly to begin with, so I can't even imagine what he's going to do to me if he's going to be right next to me.

I fiddled with the zipper on my jacket as my dad drove through the downtown traffic. (It was actually the jacket that McKenna bought be yesterday) Then, I started picking at a thread in the leather seat. Really, I was trying to do anything to keep my mind off of what was happening.

"You're really quiet back there," Keenan said, glancing back at me. "How are you holding up?"

I sighed, "About to throw up."

My dad lightly chuckled, reaching behind to pat me on the knee, "What's got you so nervous? How long have you two been talking now? A month?"

"A month and a half."

"Oh. Well, whatever, it's like a week or something difference. Anyway, that's plenty enough time to get used to your weirdness," My dad mused.

"Thanks Dad. You always know how to make me feel better," I laughed, feeling my phone buzz in my hand.

Michael: Hey hey hey I'm still in a plane

Kerrigan: Hey hey hey I'm still in a car on the way to the airport

Michael: Well I'm sitting next to a morbidly obese man so who's the real winner

Kerrigan: Me bc I'm sitting in the backseat by myself with a lot of elbow room

Michael: WOW WHAT A SURPRISE KERRIGAN WINS AGAIN

I laughed and was about to reply until I realized that the car was stopped. So, I looked out of the window to see that we were parked in the airport parking lot.

Kerrigan: Michael I'm here and the butterflies are real

Michael: Kerrigan I'm still in the air stop making me excited

Kerrigan: Are you joining the mile high club?

Michael: THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT AND YOU KNOW IT

Kerrigan: I know I just like to make you panic from time to time

Michael: Wow didn't know that I was flying out to see the DEVIL

Kerrigan: Surprise motherfucker

Keenan basically had to drag me out of the car, since I was too preoccupied texting Michael to get out myself. As the three of us walked into the airport, the butterflies in my stomach started getting reckless, swarming around and threatening to fly out of my mouth. Except, I feared that butterflies wouldn't be coming out of my mouth, and instead my breakfast and lunch that I had earlier today.

I checked the time on my phone, and Michael was supposed to land in 15 minutes, if his plane took off at the right time, and if everything went smoothly.

My dad told Keenan and I to go sit in the lounge thing, while he went to go check the flights and get something to snack on. The 'lounge thing' wasn't really a lounge of any sort; just a couple of chairs and cushioned benches.
