5 years after you and dizzy were escorted to the recruitment center and trained and readied up for war you were moved to fix weapons and dizzy was in the motor pool fixing vehicles then your sergeant came in with a folder and set it on your desk saying "it's time" you pick the folder up and read it you close the folder and run to the motor pool and found dizzy you toss him the folder and he reads it and his eyes go wide he looks at you
Dizzy: this is it? Is it really gonna be over!?
Kenneth: god hope so
Dizzy: well let's get this on the road then
Just then you hear footsteps behind you then you see dizzy's expression of shock you turn and see maralin stand there with cog armor

your expression turns from shock to anger you walk over grab her arm and walk her to a room and shut the door you turn to her and hug her she hugs back and begins to kiss you but you stop her
Kenneth: what.the.hell. ARE YOU DOING HERE AND WHEREIN THAT ARMOR!?!?
Maralin: fighting in the cog with you! I can't just sit back and wait till I get a cog soldier telling me you passed!!! I CANT DO THAT ATLEAST ILL BE WITH YOU AND PROTECT YOU AND DAD!!!!!!
Kenneth: *sigh* Mary...I love you and I would let you do what you want but this is dangerous and the last thing I want is to protect 2 people I care for and to keep an eye on
She leans in and wraps her arms around your neck and puts her and your foreheads together you wrap your arms around her waist
Maralin: I love you and I would do anything to help and protect you...you, dizzy and Teresa are all I have left...please...let me do this...and I know how to protect my self...I had two great teachers to help me survive
Kenneth:......fine......but the first time your hurt...your out and is going home with your sister
Maralin: I'm gonna get injured one way or the other how about if I get severely injured
Kenneth: no...let's go we're rolling out we're gonna end this war one way...or the other
Maralin: good I'm sick of these bastards
Kenneth: I love you
Maralin: I love you too hun...also...you were late for dinner
You both laugh and walk out the door and see dizzy standing with his arms crossed and pissed he glares at maralin and was about to say something but then you cut him off
Kenneth: I've already talked to her and she will insist on joining either way...(least I know where she gets her stubbornness from)
