"Good morning sleeping beauty." Jake said with a feather light kiss.
"Morning.c Valentine replied, voice rough with sleep.
"Whyed I come home to find you dead asleep out on the floor?" Jake asked, voice soft and questioning.
Valentine groaned before he shuffed up so he was in a setting position.
"Bella, she's pregnant. I didn't even no vampires could get people pregnant. She call me to try and, I don't know, get my forgiveness or something. Told her to fuck off."
Jake flopped down on the bed, looking a Valentine with warmth.
"You know, if you do decide to forgive her, even if just to be a uncle, I wouldn't mine." Jake told him, moving his hair from his eyes.
"I know, but it like... like she's been this pain in my ass for the longest time. You know, I've never be this happy before, because it like she just has this neck of sucking it all out of me. I can't forgive her just because she happend to get pregnant, you know?" Valentine said, and Jake understood.
"I know, whatever you decide, I'll be by your side." Jake promised, before he started to zone out. Valentine raised a eyebrow, be he knew what was going on.
When Jake was back to the world of non shifter, his face was grime.
"What?" Valentine asked, his voice alert.
"I may be on your side no matter what, but the pack isn't exactly as excepting." Jake told him, and Valentine went slightly pale.
"What?" Heanged to crock out.
"They think the baby's gonna be born into a monster who cat control its blood lust." Jake told him, and Valentine gulped.
He might have wanted Bella out of his life, but he didn't want her dead. Fuck, why does Bella always have to make him pull the fucking trigger and force him to help her.
"What are you gonna do?" Jake asked.
"When I tryed to kill Bella, I was angry. I would have regretted it and it would have been my biggest mistake. Not just because of Charlie or my mom, but because even though she a shitty sister. Shes still my sister. I might want her well out of my life, but I don't want her dead." Valentine explained, he face a blank mask if something Jake didn't like.
"Your gonna have to speel it out for me baby, whatever you want, so do I." Valentine let out a sufferable sigh.
"I want let her die, let try and convince the pack?" Valentine asked.
"We can try, but I don't think it'll do much." Jake said. Valentine shrugged helplessly.
