Chapter 16

Vasco growled playfully he, Milkshake, and Bunny fought. Vasco was grooming Palo in a little corner in the living room. It was a Saturday night and the cullens decided to come over.

"Omg, you kinky girl." Valentine purred, his voice playfully and silly suductive. Alice gave him a mischievous grin as she nodded proudly.

"For vampires hundreds of years old, I'm suprised this you your first time pegging Jasper." Jake quips and if Jasper could blush, he would be flaming.

"So, how was?" Emmitt asked making his eyebrows go up and down in a teaseing way.

"Why, you wanna try it out yourself?" Alice asked with a cheeky grin.

Emmit rolled his eyes with a playful grin, "how do you know we haven't already?" Emmitt asked with a suspicious lilt to his voice. Everone gasped beside the couple who keep there face blank.

"Have you?!" Valentine heged dramatically.

"Maybe, maybe not." Rosaline says and everyone give a disappointed sigh.

"That's definitely a question that come up when we play dirty truth or dare." Jake assures, and nods of agreement ring out. There was two truth or dares they played. Normal, where we asked slightly dirty questions or slightly dirty dares, and dirty truth or dare which was basically fithy on steroids and junk food.

The conversation continued like that. new funny or entertaining thing being said. It wasn't all dirty talk though. Sometimes it was real shit, sometimes they just sit around and talked about there life. It was fun and light or dirty and erotic. But either way it was always enough tea to be spelt to need a shit ton of popcorn.

"The voltory, they're coming for us." Alice says her voice sure and steady, but fearful all the same. Valentine eyes widened, he was told the Cullen's were having a family meeting, and him and Jake just arrived.

"Aro, Titus, marcus, the guard, and Irina." Alice say, tallying their names off one by one. Bella reaches a hand out for renesmee, who comes to her without hesitation, seeking out her warmth.

"Why?" Carlisle asked.

"What did Arena see in the woods?" Edward questioned, looking to Bella.

"We were just walking, Renasmee was catching snowflakes." Bella explained and Edward eyes widened, like he had came to a realization.

"Of course, Irina thinks Renesmee's a immortal child." Edward explains, and Valentine remembers what he and Jake talked about after what seemed like a eternity.

It was about 5 years ago, when Jake talked about the war that happened between the werewolves, vampires, Mages. How a vampirca child couldn't control their hunger, they were incapable of it. They were rash and they would drink and drink and they're hunger would never be satisfied. They have to be killed, the vampires have made monsters to kill mages, but it backfired, and now they had to kill them or their secret would be exposed to the world.

But that begs the question.

"But the mages created the childern, and I doubt Arena knows about me." Valentine says, qnd Carlisle sighs.

"Not exactly. The mages attempt to make vampier childern was the second attemt. The first was to turn the childen. That ended as badly as the first. They couldn't control they hunger and feed on human. The creators of the children grow attached and so the Valtory had to get rid of them. The vampires thoght if the mages could help the second time, there hunger would me more tame and they would only go after mages on there command." Carlisle explained.

Valentine rolled his eyes but nodded in understanding.

"But Renasmee nothing like though children. She was born not bitten. She grows every single day." Bella says defensively.

"So can you just explain that to Valtory?" Valentine asked, but of course nothing was that simple.

"Aro has enough proof in Irina's." Edward explains, shaking his head.

"So we fight." Jake says, like it was obvious.

"There offensive weapons are too powerful." Edward says.

"No one can stand against Jane." Jasper says.

"Alecs is even worse." Alice says, looking at Jake.

"Well then we convinced them!" Bella growed defensively.

"There comeing to kill us not to talk." Emmitt says from by the book shelf.

"No, your right. They wont listen to us, but maybe others can convince them. Carlisle, you have friends all around the world." Edward says, looking to his father finger who stood next to his wife, his hands folded.

"I won't ask them to fight." Carlisle said with a shake of his head.

"No fight. Witness. If enough people knew the truth, maybe we could convince the Volturi to listen." Edward explains, and Esma places a hand on Carlisle folded arm.

"We can ask this of our friends." She says. Everone waits quietly for Carlisles answers and his give on in a nod of agreement.

"Yes dad, London." Valentine says though the phone.

"We... ok, be safe. I don't want you to get lost with your sense of direction. Take Jake with you and keep him close, hes good at directions." Charlie says worriedly.

Valentine chuckles, "yes, I know."

"All right, lets get this show on the road..." Jake says with two bags in hand, his eyes falling to the window with open blinds.

"Look, I gotta go, love you dad, I'll be safe." Valentine promised.

"Love you to kiddo." Charlie says before the phone disconnects.

"What's up?" Valentine asked, looking out the window.

He paused.

Sam.

"Alice asked me to give you that." Sam says as he hands a tiny white note to Carlisle. "She and Jasper crossed our land to the ocean last night." Sam explains, watching Carlisle read and fold the paper into hus pocket.

"Carlisle?" Esma asked.

"They've left us." Carlisle says.

"Why?" Asked Rosaline.

"She didn't say."

"Can I see that?" Bella asked, taking a step toward Carlisle, her hand outstretched.

Valentine walked up to her, reading the note.

"Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come."
