"I solved a problem." Valentine shrugged unapologetically.
"You don't know the danger you've put him in. The valtory will kill anyone who knows about us." Bella says, her voice angry as she stands next to her husband.
"I didn't tell him about you. Just us, I only said you were different." Valentine explained.
"And that we had a niece we adopted," Edward argues.
"I'm mean seriously, he's not just gonna let that go Valentine!" Bella says, her voice panicky.
"Did you consider the physical pain you'll put Bella through. It'll be like putting a white-hot branding iron down her throat and that's assuming she can control her thirst." Edward informed with anger. Valentine stands stiffly, considering what to say, but Jake steps in.
"Look, Charlie's been in hell, and we all know you'll be much happier with him in your life," Jake says, and Edward yellow eyes were on him.
"Don't pretend like you're doing this for anyone but him," Edward says.
"And you wouldn't do it for Bella if you were in my place?" Jake argues, not disagreeing in the least. Edward clinches his teeth but doesn't argue.
"It doesn't matter because he'll be here in ten minutes," Valentine says, his voice calm and even.
"What!?" Bella shouts.
