"I can help!" Kelen grows over the phone.
"I don't doubt you can, but the house is surrounded by a pack of angry wolf that won't hesitate to use you as bait. If that happens Kalen, Bella won't be safe. So I'm sorry, but you can't help." Valentine told the vampire. Kelan was quite on the other end. He was a smart kid and knew that Valentine was right.
"Fine, but if you die I'll resurrect you and kill you again." Kelan promised the older, Valentine smiled.
"I'll count on it." Valentine says.
"Ok, I'm gonna go, dad, Milkshakes trying to climb on Vascos back and Bunny has Onyx's favorite toy." Kalen says, ready to hang up the phone.
"I'm to young to be a dad." Valentine said, his voice teasing.
"To late." And he hangs up.
Valentine let's the word settle into the put of his stomach. It felt good. Kalen, a fifteen year old vampire who somehow saw Valentine as a parental finger.

"That's the plan then?" Valentine asked, going over it in his head.
"Yeah, you think it'll work?" Jake asked.
Valentine thought more on it, before a smirk played on his face.
"Yeah, I think it will." Valentine nodded, and the grin of relief thay washed over Jake's face was everything. He was waiting for Vals approval.

As Jake distracted the pack, Valentine keep watch, making sure the vampires made it over the river so they could make there escape with the blood. They need more, to feed themselves and the baby.
Jake was selling a plan to the pack. Giving over Seth and Leah so they can be back with there family, and then killing Bella and the baby. It was fake of course, but Seth nor Leah new that. It was better that way. Easer to trick someone when less people knew about it.
As Valentine keep watched, he noticed Esma running for two wolfs. A dark brown one through her down a small hill with its hugh body. She tumbled to the floor, the wolfs surrounding her.
Valentine was already for hus hiding spot and between the wolfs. They stoped there growling, recognizing Valentine.
One wolf tryed to go for him, Valentine already had his magic ready to defend himself, but before he had the chance, the other wolf jumped at the other. Valentine eyes widened, not expecting this. Rather it was from there loyalty to Valentine, or just knowing how powerful the mage was, Val didn't question why as Emmitt and Carlisle showed and grabbed Esma.
"I'll carry you?" Emmitt asked, glancing at the jump across the river. Valentine shook his head, no. Emmitt nodded and the three ran to the river, jumping over.
When the wolfs broke apart, the both howled in unison. The vampires where gone, Valentine included.

"You guy made it out ok?" Jake asked Edward. His eyes wided, but he nodded.
"Looked at you being all civil." Valentine smiled, playfully shoving Jake's sholder as they made it to the living room.
Bella was laying on the sofa, Alice and Rosalyn on each of her sides.
"What's go on here?" Valentine asked, breaking the tension like cutting butter. The two vampires helped Bella stand.
