It's been awhile since I've pampered myself, or have let myself be pampered. So, I call Naomi to see if she'd like to come with me to get a mani pedi and do some shopping.
I'm leaning over the bathroom counter putting on some makeup, when Josiah comes in and leans against the doorframe.
"Are you ready, yet?" He asks impatiently.
"Almost." I whisper, as I concentrate on applying some winged eyeliner.
Josiah walks over to the tub and sits on the edge, as he watches me.
"I used to watch mom put on her makeup..I used to help her."
I look over at him and smile. "I used to help my mom, too. Do you wanna help me?" I ask and Josiah nods.
I smile and wave him over.
"Pick out a lipstick for me to wear." I smile and he happily rummages through my makeup bag.
Josiah pulls out a reddish, brown lipstick and I smile,
"Ooh, I like it." I smile and apply it to my lips.
"You look so pretty, Mama." He smile.
"Thank you, Babybear."
Before we leave, I take a few pictures with Josiah in the living room mirror and post a few on Instagram.

Josiah and I leave soon after, to head over to Naomi and Jimmy's house.
20 minutes later
Naomi and I take her car and head into town. We stop by a cafe to get some coffee, before heading to the nail salon.
"You have no idea how much I need this." Naomi says.
