At five in the afternoon,I shower and get ready to head to the airport. I texted Jey earlier today and he'll pick me up at William P. Hobby airport.
As I'm getting dressed, I realize that in a few hours, I'll be with Jey! It's been a minute, so I apply a bit of makeup, before getting dressed. My fit for the day is cute and casual. Since it's horribly hot in Houston, just like Florida; I wear a shot sleeve cropped top.
But, it's too short. So, I throw a sheer white cardigan over it. The cardigan isn't made of heavy material, so it'll be fine. I'll just take it off once I'm with Jey.

I grab my duffel bag and suitcase, to place beside the front door. Then, I walk through the house and make sure all the lights, electronics, and the stove is off.
Once I'm satisfied, I check my phone. It's five twenty, still enough time. My check in time is five forty, so I grab my things to put in my car and lock up the house. I drive to Naomi's, which is on my to the airport and day goodbye to Josiah.
"Have fun, but don't give Auntie a hard time, ok?" I say, as I lovingly rub food from his face.
Josiah nods and hugs me tightly. I smile and kiss his cheek.
"I'll be home soon. Be good and I'll bring you back something."
Josiah smiles. "Yes ma'am. Tell dad that I miss him."
"I will."
"Alright, I'll take care of Siah. You need to go, before you miss your check in!" Naomi says and she hugs me.
"Have fun." She whispers and I wink at her.
I run towards my car and wave one last time at my Josiah, before backing out of Naomi and Jimmy's driveway.

After checking my bags in, I grab my duffel and make my way over to Starbucks. I order a dragon fruit refresher and a honey wheat bagel, before taking a seat at the gate I'll be leaving through.
I set down my snack and drink, before texting Jey.
