"Is it okay I you close tonight Rose?" My boss approached me and asked rather politely. "Umm. Yeah. Sure. I'll close." I told Rikki. Rikki was an awkward man. Quite hilarious actually. Kate and I gossip bout it all the time.

Rikki nodded. Smiling to myself I turned back and walked around the store a bit. Greeting customers and helping others mix and match outfits. My job was easy. Well, easy as long as the customers were polite and all.

Kate was across the store helping some young girl and her mum. She looked over at me and was trying to stay serious but could not for some reason. Being her best friend and all I just had to make a face at her. So I stuck my tongue out at her and crossed my eyes.

That killed her. She just completely burst out laughing. Right in front of the girl and her mum. The mum didn't look to pleased. This woman actually swung and hit Kate with her bag. Then she took her daughter's hand and stormed up to the cash register and paid then left. Kate scowled at me.

I snickered and carried out with my jobs. The day was slow. As the sun slowly set, the number of customers dwindled down until the final one checked out. Everyone else left. It was just me in the store alone. It was kinda creepy but I didn't really mind it.

Sighing, I walked around picking up things and organizing the shelves and all that. I grabbed the key off the little hook and began to lock the doors. I pulled shades behind the manikins. For an odd reason I was drawn to them. I looked up into their cold and blank eye sockets. Shivers went down my spine.

Shrugging I hung the key back up and walked downstairs into the storage room. There was a loud noise coming from the back room. What could be down here? It was all just storage. "Hello?" I called out unsure of myself. No answer. A smirk tugged at my lips. Of course. No reply, of course. Putting my hands on my hips I looked around.

A burst came from a door to my left. I jumped and whipped around to see what it was. It was that crazy Scottish man from the bus stop. The one who called himself the Doctor. He was pressing his body to the door as if trying to keep someone in there. The Doctor pulled out a cylinder is device. Kinda looked like a thick pencil of sorts. It had a blue light at the top. He pressed it against the doorknob and flicked it on. The little light buzzed and made a weird noise.

"Who are you?" I asked shocked. The man looked at me with a wild look in his eye again. "I told you Miss Rose Tyler. I'm the Doctor." The Doctor held something in his hand. It looked like an explosive. A robotic voice came from the other side of the door, "Upgrading now. Upgrading now." I shivered. "Wha?" The Doctor cut me off. "Run." He put the explosive on the door, set it's timer, and took my hand.
