This is a continuation of the previous one-shot.

As we walked, Charlie suddenly stopped and turned to me. "Nick, there's something I wanted to talk to you about."

My heart started racing. Was he going to confess his feelings for me? I tried to keep my cool and nodded.

"I just wanted to say that I had a really great time at game night last night. It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad we're friends."

I felt a pang of disappointment, but tried to hide it with a smile. "Yeah, it was really great. We should do it again sometime."

Charlie looked at me intently, his blue eyes sparkling. "You know, Nick, I feel like we have a really strong connection. Like, there's something special between us."

I raised an eyebrow, feeling a glimmer of hope. "What do you mean?"

Charlie shrugged, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "I don't know, maybe it's just me. But I feel like we have a lot in common, and I really enjoy spending time with you."

I could feel my cheeks turning red as I realized what he was saying. Could it be that Charlie felt the same way I did? I decided to take a chance and speak my mind. "Charlie, I have to be honest with you. I really like you. I mean, I like you more than just a friend."

Charlie's smile widened, and he took a step closer to me. "Nick, I'm so glad you said that. Because I feel the same way."

My heart felt like it was going to burst with happiness as I looked into his eyes. It was a moment I had been dreaming of for so long, and it was finally happening. But then I felt my face getting hot as I realized I was blushing.

Charlie noticed my embarrassment and chuckled. "Aww, Nick, you're blushing! That's so cute."

I rolled my eyes, trying to play it cool. "Oh, shut up,"

But deep down, I was thrilled that he found my blush endearing. It was just another sign that we were meant to be together, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.
