Charlie and Nick had been planning their baking day for weeks. They had both been busy with school and extracurricular activities, so they were looking forward to spending a day together, just the two of them, baking cookies.

Charlie arrived at Nick's house early in the morning, carrying a large bag of ingredients. Nick greeted him at the door, a wide smile on his face. He was wearing an apron and had flour dusted on his cheeks. "Hey, Charlie! I'm so excited to bake with you today," Nick said, his eyes sparkling with joy." Me too," Charlie replied, looking at Nick with admiration. He had always thought Nick was cute, but seeing him in the kitchen, so focused and passionate, made Charlie's heart flutter. They began to gather the ingredients and set up the kitchen. Nick was in charge of measuring the flour and sugar, while Charlie cracked the eggs into a bowl. As they worked, they talked and laughed, enjoying each other's company. As they mixed the ingredients together, Nick showed Charlie some of his baking tips and tricks. Charlie was impressed by Nick's skill and knowledge, and he found himself admiring Nick even more. They worked together in silence for a while, but as they began to roll out the dough, Nick found himself unable to resist." Charlie, you're amazing at this," Nick said, smiling at Charlie. Charlie blushed, feeling a little embarrassed. "Thanks, Nick. You're pretty good too," he replied, returning Nick's smile. They continued to work together, cutting out the cookies and placing them on the baking sheet. As they waited for the cookies to bake, they sat at the kitchen table, chatting and enjoying each other's company. When the cookies were finally done, they pulled them out of the oven and let them cool. They each took a bite of a warm cookie, and Nick couldn't help but feel like this was one of the happiest moments of his life. As they cleaned up the kitchen, Nick couldn't stop thinking about how lucky he was to have Charlie in his life. He felt like he could do anything with Charlie by his side. As they said goodbye, Nick gave Charlie a quick hug and promised to bake with him again soon. Charlie smiled, his eyes shining with happiness. Nick watched as Charlie walked down the street, feeling grateful for their friendship. He knew that Charlie was special to him, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to take their relationship to the next level. As he cleaned up the kitchen, Nick thought about how much he enjoyed spending time with Charlie. He couldn't deny that he felt a spark between them, but he didn't want to risk ruining their friendship by confessing his feelings. Instead, Nick decided to focus on being the best friend he could be to Charlie. He knew that their bond was strong, and he didn't want to jeopardize it by making things awkward.
