The five women work together to set up an arena of sorts. They all thought it best to hold the test within the confines of the gym. It's farther away from the house and also very sturdy in case anything should happen. Hela suggested to hold it at midnight to ensure all other students would be in their rooms.
Regina opted to go retrieve Alicia as Cordelia expressed her sentiments against it. Mentioning their interaction earlier in the day as a reason. While Gina got Alicia, the other four discussed in which order they'd do the test. They decided to level it and just put all the easy ones first and build up.
Now 'easy' is a bit of an understatement; these were not easy at all. They wouldn't usually dare to give these to new students. They don't even give them to second years, if they do it at all. Some of Hela's are combat strategies that she tests on her fourth year students. Galadriel started at a good baseline but it quickly skyrockets after the first test.
Florence has some basics and then just a few experimental ones. In fact she's never given them to students before, but she trusts Delia's judgments. Besides, none of Flor's would jeopardize her life. Merely injure her, a bruise at most. Regina on the other hand has decided to just let it rip. Her easiest being an end-of-year project she gives to third years. It only increases from there.
They are all quite literally risking everything for this. However there's no one to tell them they can't, so they go through with it. Regina comes in with Alicia trailing behind her looking alert. The women make their way to their seats as Alicia gazes around the room.
The room is filled with, to an outsider, seemingly random objects. Various fixtures and simulated terrain surround the room. Each of the women calculated exactly what is needed and a little extra for fun. They all agreed that if she seems to be overachieving they will modify the test in real time. Essentially, they decided to wing it but only if need be.
"When do I start?" Alicia projects across the room as she stand in the one completely empty spot at the center. Except for where the women are sitting with a 10ft radius around them, of course. "We'd like to see what you performed during the basic assessment. Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, and the elemental mimicry" Galadriel speaks.
Alicia performs them all effortlessly, going a little extra on the cryokinesis and dropping the temperature in the room. "What other elements can you do?" Florence asks, "I'm best with stone" the young woman states. "Will this do?" Hela asks dropping a rock, very lightly actually. "Yeah that'll do it" Alicia chuckles, she sits on the rock and after a few seconds she's as black as obsidian.
The layer falls once she gets up and they all look at each other. "So you have to be in contact with the surface?" Galadriel asks, "correct" Alicia answers. "And I'm assuming you don't actually turn to stone" Gina adds, "no, it's a light layer over my skin pretty much" the woman answers.
The other women convene for a moment and decide to just throw their standard tests out the window. "So how would you feel about an experiment?" Cordelia asks, "again. Not a circus animal" Alicia chuckles. Regina chuckles as well and Delia glares at her making her stop.
"We're a bit out of range here as we've not had anyone of your... caliber before" the blonde admits. "I'm cool with it as long as one of you can bring me back" she says cooly, "bring you back" Florence chimes in confused. "Well yeah, if I die" Alicia says as if it was obvious and the women just look at each other for a moment.
Surprised glances shared between the five of them. "You won't die. It's nothing like that" Cordelia says and Alicia just nods. "Catoptromancy. The-" "I know what it is" Alicia interrupts Gina. Regina looks surprised and leans forward as the young supposed witch makes her way to the mirror.
She mutters something herself of which the others can't hear. "Who am I looking for?" She asks, "Zelena" Gina answers. "Your sister... well I'm not sure you wanna know she's doing. I see her though. Long red hair, pretty tall, she's cute" Alicia voices before backing away from the mirror.
"She's fucking isn't she?" Gina asks disinterested, "Regina Mills" Florence scolds. "Yeah dude has a weird haircut too" Alicia chuckles. "What about... changing forms" Galadriel questions, "so shapeshifting?" Alicia counters and the elf nods in response.
"Well... see the thing about that is..." Alicia trails, "it's ok if you can't do it" Florence voices sweetly. "Oh it's not that, I can definitely do it. It's just that I have a... weird thing I can also do" she says. "Just go for it, sweetheart" Cordelia speaks up somewhat impatiently. She's eager to see exactly what the young woman can do.
"Alright" Alicia sighs, first she seems to disappear and then her shadow peels off the floor. Expanding into an intelligible shape of darkness, she's simply like a cloud. "What the fuck" Regina whispers as she leans her elbows on her knees. All of them stare at it, at her, taken aback.
All except Galadriel as she somewhat suspected this. The form quickly changes into a human form. One that looks exactly like Cordelia, "hi guys" Alicia speaks. Except it's no longer her voice, it perfectly matches Cordelia's. "I'll be damned" Delia speaks involuntarily, "well shit" Gina says falling back into her chair.
Alicia changes back into, well herself, and stands there rocking on her feet. "So... what's next?" She asks softly, "I think we need a minute" Hela speaks. "Yes. Just umm... wait there" Florence says as the women stand up simultaneously. They all sort of huddle in the corner while Alicia distracts herself with the many things in the room.
