Alicia's pov
Today I woke up feeling refreshed, I think my wings were literally weighing me down. I got dressed and made my way out into this new world I've found myself in. Cordelia hasn't given me any tasks so to speak so I'm not sure what to do. The day will be a surprise. As I start walking down the hallway, I realize I left my necklace in my room. I roll my eyes and turn around but everything looks different now. What is this hogwarts?! I go to a door that looks like mine but it's definitely not my room. I open another and there's actually someone in this one.
"Oh I'm sorry" I apologize, "don't be! Come in. Please" she utters softly. I cautiously step further into the room. What's the worst that could happen. I'm not sure what it is about me exactly but people seem to love talking to me. Spilling all the beans, their entire life story, and this girl is no different.
It seems she goes from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds. Rambling and ranting on about something I can't quite grasp at the moment. There's bits of her talking about love and how no one loves her. That bit I understand and so I voice that, she just smiles a bit then keeps going.
Robichaux's is a school for unwanted girls. As you can imagine, it's pretty big. The school is full of different types. Even though having magical abilities is more common than not here, people are still scared. Those who haven't had a witch in the family for generations casting them out here. Those of royal or pure blood having a child that progresses just a bit more slowly than others. All of them being practically banished here.
As I come to, I see a tear fall down her cheek. She doesn't appear to notice she's crying, so I don't mention. She then wipes her face and sighs, sitting down, well more like flopping down on the bed. "I feel better. Let's not talk about it anymore" she states, I just nod in agreement and stand up.
"Hey what's your name again? I don't think your ever told me actually" I ask her, "I know" she says simply. She then takes my hand leading me out the room. "That's the cinema" she points, "we can't really leave so they have stuff like that for us" she adds. She shows me a few more rooms before taking me further down the hallway. When we come to the kitchen I let go of her hand, I'm not quite sure why.
She doesn't seem to notice and just continues on doing what she was doing. I watch her as she clumsily makes her way around tinkering with things. I feel a presence and turn around slowly to see Cordelia standing there. She seems out of it, not herself. She just stares into her mug and periodically takes sips.
"Are you trying to read the tea leaves?" I joke and her head snaps up, "o-oh. No I'm just... distracted" she says. Leaving shortly after without saying another word. Weird. I turn around to see the girl has disappeared as well. I still can't believe she never told me her name.
I decide to just walk around and try to map this place in my head. Which of course leads to me getting lost. I end up stumbling on an office, the plate reads: Regina Mills. That sounds... weird, but ok. I knock softly and hear an annoyed 'come in' but I enter anyway.
"Hi, I got lost" I state, "what section are you from?" She asks distractedly. "Umm section?" I question, "yes. There's five sections, just- who's your teacher?" She asks, finally looking up at me. "I don't have one yet" I tell her, "you're Alicia" she states. "Yeah..." I drag out, "nice to finally meet you" she says standing up and reaching out her hand.
I eye her confused but moved forward and shake her hand firmly. "I'm Regina, head of sector 3. You're in Cordelia's section, she's head of 1" she explains, "and there are... others?" I inquire. "How about you take a seat?" She smirks, closing the door with her powers and I hesitantly sit down. I don't quite think she'd let me leave anyway.
"As I said there's five sections. In order it's: Cordelia, Hela, Me, Florence, then Galadriel" she tells. "And they're all in this building" I state, "correct. It's a bit like a circle maze if you ask me" she rolls her eyes. "Ok but how did I get to... sector 3 without passing sector 2?" I ask.
"Easy. They are placed in a staggered position. Think... like a lock. One is forward the other is backward and so on and so forth" she waves her hands. "So that neutral place Cordelia took me to is the center" I note, "...precisely" she mutters, eyeing me as if she's trying to read me.
"Well I should get back" I sigh standing up, "thank you" I add. "You just go straight out to the big hallway and follow it to the right. Also, good luck on your test tonight. I'm... excited to see what you can do" she voices. "I'm sorry" I say questioningly, "your test. It's tonight. I'll be there as will the others" she explains.
"Oh great, a show" I mumble, "well more like a display or revelation but sure" she speaks. "Right" I say, exiting the room after without another word and heading back to where I was before. As I'm about to try to find my room again Cordelia pops out of nowhere. "I need to talk to you" she says, "if it's about the test, I already know. Regina told me" I state.
"When did you talk to her? How-" "I got lost" I cut her off. "Oh" she sighs, "I'll see you tonight I suppose" I remark. Turning to go to my room afterwards so I can think about all of this. Do I show them everything? What if they send me away somewhere else? Won't be the first time that's happened. Please send a sign or something because I'm out of ideas.
