7. Trapped in time

We walk past the second class coach of the train and Yeon and Rang have already messed with a guy. As if Rang wasn't enough to cause trouble Yeon is also behaving quite childish. Maybe he's more at ease because he's alone this time, Ji ah's not here.

We walk until we get in the first class, which is also quite packed. I got a seat first, where only a guy was sitting. Ignoring Rang and Yeon's stare I sat there thinking about today morning.

Flashback

''So, my future self sent you here ?'' Granny asked Yeon raising a brow as she glanced between me and him every second.
''I see y/n has been reincarnated in the future. You completed your mission but much later than your alloted time.'' She added.
''My brother was dying.'' Yeon reasoned.
''Isn't that your choice after all ? 'Should I go back or stay here and save my brother ?'"

''Granny, we had to save Rang. We couldn't have just left him there on his own while he was on the verge of death.'' I said coming forward.
''Above everything y/n, why are you still here ? Even if Yeon couldn't go, he should've sent you back.'' Granny said in her usual strict tone.
''Granny, it wasn't Yeon's choice to make. I stayed back because I didn't want to leave without seeing Rang alright. Can you please let us off this one time ?'' I asked in a soft pleading voice that usually works on Granny.

''Okay, try opening it.'' Granny said looking at Yeon as he walked and opened the cabinet to find it empty like a normal looking cabinet making us both sigh in sync.
''Is there really no way back home ?''

''Well, there's always a way, but.....'' Granny said in a weird tone. I am familiar with this, she talks this way whenever she wants people to do something she wants.
''What is it ?''
''Go run an errand. Then i'll tell you.'' I knew it. She handed a piece of paper to Yeon.
''The legendary pipe is on the train that left Busan this morning.''

''The guy won't move automatically away from her if you keep staring at him.'' Yeon told Rang who's gaze was fixed on the guy sitting next to y/n.
''She looks exactly like her. Where did you even find her ?'' Yeon blinked twice as he cooked a story in his mind.
''Uh just somewhere, a few years back. We do missions together since then.'' Yeon said briefly seeing that Rang was kinda buying it.
''That guys still an eyesore. Do something about him or I will.'' Rang said finally looking away to a puppy in front of him. Yeon sighed then smiled as he walked towards y/n's seat.

''Find another seat.'' Yeon stared into the mans eyes with his gumiho ones and the latter obeyed without space for his own thoughts.
''Why did you have to do that ?'' Y/n asked as the older took a seat beside her.
''If I didn't, a certain someone who's been staring here ever since would have. And we both know it wouldn't have been a pretty sight.'' Yeon said as y/n playfully rolled her eyes knowing very well who that 'certain someone' is.

''Are you alright ?'' Yeon asked leaving the playful tone behind.
''To be honest, no. I feel bad, no, terrible, lying to Rang about my identity and asking you to do the same. And im worried about what might be happening back home. Rang must have flipped the world upside down until now and I cant help but worry about Soo ho and Sarang.'' Y/n said her face clearly expressing how affected she already is by everything.

''But....'' She paused for some good seconds.
''But ?''
''But I also know that you miss Ji ah too and you are as desperate as me to go back.'' She said sharing a sympathizing look with the gumiho.
''We'll go back home y/n, I promise. Just think that we are out for a little adventure.'' Yeon said making y/n smile.
''Adventure ?'' She asked smiling.
''Yeah, like a mini trip. A siblings day out, you and me.'' He said making her chuckle.

''Yeon, im not ten anymore.'' She said still smiling hard.
''You're ten times younger than me, what do you mean ?'' He said making a pouty face.
''But thanks. That helped. Now call your actual sibling here, he's still looking.'' She said as the older shook his head and called Rang over to the seat opposite theirs.

''We need to discuss about the Legendary pipe.'' Y/n started as Yeon narrated Rang about it.
''The legendary pipe fell into the hands of the japanese ?'' He asked.
''Granny even sealed the item.''
''They even broke the seal ? So they're no ordinary guys.'' Rang concluded.

''If you play the pipe well enough, you can even blow an entire mountain.'' Yeon told the other two.
''We have an hour left. Let's find it before they get off and scatter.''
''So it's in this very compartment.'' Rang stated.
''But we don't know who it is.'' Y/n added.

''There are seven japanese in first class. We'll have to torture them one by one.''
''Wait, what ? No, you're not going to do any thing like that Yeon. Rang, hold him back.'' Rang made Yeon sit back at y/n's words as the older just looked back and forth between the two. He opened his mouth to ask Rang why he held him back but closed it back.
''I cant even scold him, it's like it's his muscle memory or something.'' He muttered to himself.
''Yeon, we dont need to do that. There's an over paas coming.''

In a few seconds the whole coach became pitch black as the train entered the tunnel. People started screaming and shouting, their voices could be heard all over, it was more than chaotic. In the midst of everything, something touched y/n making her flinch. Before it would make contact with her again she was pulled into a warm embrace while Yeon was shouting right near her ears.

When the train came out of the tunnel and the coach lit up again, everyone was still in chaos complaining about the stuff they lost. Y/n looked around her to find herself wrapped up in Rang's arms, she looked up at him to find him already looking at her.
''Someone touched me here, and over here too !'' Yeon exclaimed pointing all over his body completely nonchalant of the position he saw y/n and Rang in. Y/n slowly created distance between her and Rang when Yeon finally composed himself, he took the situation in and sat in between the younger ones.

''Hey, your guys did this ?'' He whispered low enough for y/n and Rang to hear.
''You said you needed the legendary pipe. It's your reward for saving my life. A fox always repay kindness right ?'' Rang simply replied as Yeon just nodded soullessly.

''Im going to be accused of being a thief now.'' Yeon said facepalming as he looked at the stolen goods in front of him.
''They didnt leave anything from the stinky thing you're holding to the dog in his hands.'' Y/n said shaking her head in despair.
''Once my guys start stealing, they take every last thing, you know.'' Rang spoke in his gangs defense as if that would work.
''There's everything here except for the legendary pipe.'' Y/n said with a straight face and as if on cue, Doo mok entered the cabin all blue and purple.

''Boss, the legendary pipe got stolen from me.''
''By whom ?'' The three synced.
''By me.''
