Ronnie Nash hadn't had it easy in her twenty-three years of life, it had been shadowed by the dark cloud of grief, at the age of seventeen she had lost three of the most important people in her life, and that almost killed her. However, Ronnie couldn't feel her pain, sorrow and grief, she couldn't wallow in self pity, or mourn her loved ones, she had to keep the one person she had left safe and push him into rehab for help.A year after her mother and siblings died, she got Bobby into an in-patient rehab clinic and flew off to Austin, Texas for a break. She didn't know what she was doing, or where she was going, all she knew was that she had to find him. Eventually she found her best friend, T.K Strand, and worked alongside him at the 126 until she was twenty-one until she found the courage to find her father and go back to their new 'home' in Los Angeles.
Her life in Texas wasn't how she had hoped, she met a man and fell in love, at first it was the typical fairytale life, two beautiful children, a loving husband, until he turned violent. In the beginning he only hurt Ronnie, but she was scared of what he would do to her children so she left them with T.K and Carlos, the two she trusted the most and ran. Not knowing she was going to have another member added to her family soon.
When she arrives in LA, she reconciles with her father and meets his fiancee and her two children, soon finding that life for her father was better than she had hoped. She starts making connections with people and lifelong friends, including the two 'knuckleheads' as she liked to call them, Buck and Eddie, eventually she falls for one of them and they settle down.
Pushing forwards, she gets accepted into the family of the 118 and makes her way through life, but she doesn't forget her life in Texas, nor who she left there, and begins to find the one thing she'd been missing for five years, happiness and family. When she gets a phone call from her best friend, her heart drops when she hears something has happened to one of her children.
Watch the drama unfold of Ronnie's complicated love life and watch her evolve.
A/N: So I am surprised, I am rubbish at making covers, but I made this one by myself and I don't think it's too bad. I had a dream about Emily Osment as Bobby's kid so I had to do 'the one who lived'. Forget all my half finished books, my ADHD doesnt let me finish one before another comes.
