Chaeyoung was in her office when she decided to give his mom a call to let her know about Lisa's coming.
"Hello Mom"
"Hello my baby. How is the most pretty handsome in the world doing?" her mom said.
Chaeyoung chuckled at his mom's compliment.
"I'm fine mom. How are you doing?"
"Well..since my own daughter doesn't care about me,what do you expect me to say?" She replied.
"Mom. Please don't say that,you know that's not true." Chaeyoung said.
"You don't act that way though." Her mom replied.
"Mom,l'm sorry okay? I've been busy lately." She said.
"it's okay. At least you called today... I'm sure you didn't call just so you could hear my voice... I know you Chaeyoung what is it?" Her mom said.
Chaeyoung smiled at how her mom went straight to the point, she knew her too well, that was for sure.
"Mom, Lisa called to say he'll be returning to Korea" she say.
"Really!" Her mom excitedly screamed.
Chaeyoung has to place the phone some distance away from her ear so she doesn't go deaf. When she was done screaming, she placed the phone back on his ear.
"So,when is she coming?" Her mom asked.
"During the weekend." She replied.
"Great! I'll get her room ready."
"That won't be necessary mom. She'll be staying at my place until she gets her own."
"What? Why?!"
"She knows you aren't going to let her have her own place if she eventually comes home." She replied
"l agree on that one... I mean, there are a lot of rooms in this house, so why would she want to have her own place?" Her mom said.
"Mom, she's a grown woman." Chaeyoung reminded her mom.
"Hmmm. It seems you both are running away from me." She said in a defeated tone.
"We can never run away from you." Chaeyoung replied.
"Anyways, you two may feel like grown women but you're both my babies.!"
"We know mom and we love you too." Chaeyoung replied with a light chuckle.
"Bye mom."
"Bye baby."
Chaeyoung then remembered the surprise party Jisoo talked about.
"Mom.." Chaeyoung called her mom before she could hang up.
