It's been a month since the baby was born. Lisa decided to name her Sandra in honor of her late mother. The baby was showered with so much love and attention both from her parents and grandparents.
Jisoo has had sleepless nights for the past month, waking up in the middle of the night to rock her baby to sleep in her cradle or sometimes to feed her.
Jisoo realized that being a mother wasn't an easy task, it has its own toll on her. Lisa tries hee best to be a wonderful father to her daughter. She comes back home late from work, not like Jisoo was complaining but she needed her by her side to be her strength. She could always take care of work later but she needs to be present to watch her daughter grow. She doesn't want to mention anything to Lisa because she didn't want Lisa to feel like she was jealous of the attention she was paying to her work. They had decided to let this time pass before they got.
It was Thanksgiving day, Lisa told Jisoo about the Thanksgiving dinner at their family house. Jisoo hasn't been to any family gathering since she began dating Lisa because she was avoiding to meet with Min-young after the last incident. This was a Thanksgiving, the very first one with the baby. She contemplated whether or not to attend but made up her mind that she wasn't going to be present.
Jisoo told Lisa about her decision, she wasn't happy but Lisa ended up respecting her decision. She told her that she would be spending hers with her mom and that he could go with the baby. She was a family member and she was also safe with her father. So, Lisa left for the Thanksgiving dinner with Sandra.
Jisoo went to the bathroom and showered after Lisa left. She picked a black lace high neck midi dress with black heels to wear. She wore her makeup light and decided to leave her hair straight. When she was satisfied with her looks, she left the house and drove to her mom's.
She got to her mom's place after going to a wine store to get a bottle of wine as a gift for her mom. Jisoo walked into the house not bothering to knock. Her mom wasn't in the living room, so she went to the bedroom to look for her but she wasn't there. Jisoo then went into the kitchen, she could perceive mouth watering aroma coming from the kitchen. She walked into the kitchen and saw her mom helping the maids out with the cooking. They were making rice, sauce, salad and the most important of them all, the turkey. They were also making banana tart for dessert. She walked up to her mom and gave her a peck on the cheek.
"Happy Thanksgiving mom. I got this for you" she said giving her mom the wine.
Yunjin was beyond surprised to see Jisoo here.
"Thanks honey" she replied with a confused look.
She gave the maids certain instructions to follow then went out of the kitchen with Jisoo. They went to the garden to talk.
"Aren't you supposed to be with Lisa and my granddaughter?" Yunjin questioned.
"I wanted to spend my Thanksgiving with you.. besides Lisa needs to also spend some time with Sandra, she's her daughter" Jisoo replied.
