Knowing when you are being lied to almost hurts as much as not knowing. Bright like Sirus but almost nothing like him.
It felt like I was dancing on clouds, i didn't even know I was burned until I could see the scars.
The horrid awful scars.
"And we'll dance until our feet hurt." He smiled at me as we sat next to the lake my feet in the lake as he told me of the Balls held in Paris.
How elegant and pretty they were, how the women dressed like ballerinas and the men like princes.
"The food is the best and the pasta." He groaned as I pushed his shoulder with a small laugh.
"Rigel." I whined dramatically as he smiled."Why do you call me that?" I tilted my head looking up at the stars.
"It's just a star, you remind me of a star so bright and pretty." He smiled leaning over to me.
"You really think of me like a star?" I nod leaning back, falling against the cushiony grass."What do you see me as?"
He hummed almost as if he was thinking."I think of you as the moon, millions of stars around you, but you shine on everyone."
Grinning I got on top of him hugging him. His arms wrapped around me as I looked down at his black hair puffing out as I giggled.
He always had the prettiest blue eyes.
I wish I could've known. Before I had loved him so much. Before I had trusted him so much.
"Well come on we've still got time before curfew." I rolled off him and we got up him pulling me down the path to the gardens.
We ran through the night neither of us could stop laughing as I almost trip and so did he."Hold on tight Moony!"
He grinned as he picked me up and ran down the cobblestone.I laughed grinning and banging on his back.
"Put me down!" He only laughed as we stopped at the garden."Come on it was only some fun!"
I laughed as he put me down soon walking through the greenhouses my skirt dirty as we walked down the hallways back to the great hall.
He took my hand and kissed my knuckles."See you tomorrow Moony." I smiled as he left down the hall my eyes watching as he left.
It felt like I was handling glass he was so perfect. We were perfect and there was nothing that could go wrong.
Every day we were together felt like an adventure, the butterflies never left and I couldn't get enough of him.
As far as I knew he couldn't get enough of me. Dancing in the rain running through the forest and swimming in the lake with our clothes on.
He was like the light of my life. But as all stars do. He burnt out, and I was too happy to notice.
"Let's just stay inside today it's raining." I frowned."But you love the rain." He shook his head.
"Not tonight let's just hang out in your room." I looked at him uneasily."I don't know we've never done that before"
"Come on it'll be fun we can just hang out," I rubbed my arm."But no boys are allowed in the girl's dorms it's a rule."
He only rolled his eyes."I won't get caught plus we can just study." He looked at me with a pleading look.
"Come on just an hour we can't just be outside all the time, plus it's getting colder." I nodded giving in.
He was my boyfriend and we had been together for five months. What's the worst that could happen?
Slowly we walked there and I counted the stones lining the walls as we went."Did you do Slughorns assignment?"
I shook my head."No was I supposed to?" He groaned."I forgot you're in that special class." I looked at him confused.
"It's just one level above you." Rigel blows me off."He makes us work harder anyway, it's probably cause I'm a Gryffindor."
I sighed knowing this was coming up again. Being a Slytherin I was aware of the house rivalry.
Only in his words, I was different."I'm sure he's just frustrated with all the exams don't worry I'm sure you'll finish it."
I gave him a soft smile, I really hoped he didn't let that stupid rivalry get in his head."Your right, probably just the exam."
His hand rubbed my shoulder, and soon we made it to my dorm. It was quiet and night. I smiled at him as he flopped on my bed.
"Come on join me." I went to argue but decided it was okay."Alright." I lay next to him.
"He smiled looking over at me." Let's try something new.
"What?"
He kissed me. Over and over, and he didn't stop. Even when I pushed him away. Even when I said i wasnt ready. He pushed.
I couldn't stop him, and I just let him, and when he got what he wanted.
"You're really great, but I think I should just focus on my studies, you know how it is."
"R-right yeah."
"Course."
