Solana found herself rushing out of her hotel room, not wanting to be more late that she already was for breakfast with the team after waking up late.

She turned the corner of the hallway to see someone stepping into the elevator, causing her to rush over to it, not wanting to miss it and have to wait an additional five minutes for it just to come back up.

"Hold the door please!" She frantically exclaimed, and to her relief the person did.

Solana stepped into the elevator and was greeted with a familiar face.

"Thank you." Solana sincerely thanked Max before halting beside him.

"Yeah. What floor?" Max questioned her, looking over at her expectantly.

"Lobby, same as you." Solana informed him after looking over at the panel to see that the lobby button was lit, meaning he had already pressed that floor.

"Are you going to the team breakfast?" Max questioned Solana after the elevator doors slid shut.

"Yeah. I can't believe I almost missed it." Solana sheepishly stated.

"How come?" Max curiously questioned her.

"I woke up late. I don't even remember turning off my alarm." Solana informed him, causing him to lightly chuckle.

"It happens." Max attempted to reassure her.

The elevator came to a slow halt before the doors slid open to reveal the lobby. Max politely gestured for Solana to exit first and she did.

"Do you know where the restaurant is?" Solana questioned Max, looking around for any sign of the Red Bull team as they walked alongside one another.

"Yeah. Just around the corner. It's a bit hidden." Max informed her as he lead the way.

Sure enough, she recognized some familiar faces upon turning the corner of the hallway and entering the restaurant with Max right alongside her.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." Sergio jokingly greeted his daughter in English as she took the vacant seat beside him. Sergio recognized her tired face when he saw it.

"Buenos días." Solana greeted her father along with the whole table, causing all of them to reply with their own "good morning".

"Jesus, mates. Did you get lost on your way down here? We were waiting on you two." Daniel sarcastically questioned his previously missing mates.

"Sorry, I accidentally woke up late." Solana sheepishly stated, nervously chuckling as she fidgeted with her hands on her lap.

"I honestly forgot what time we were meeting." Max lied, wanting to take the attention away from Solana when he noticed how she visibly shifted in discomfort from his seat across the table.

He was sort of bothered by the fact that she was embarrassed about such a simple and common thing. Accidents happened. Life would be a whole lot easier for Max if he just took his own advice.

"Well, shall we eat?" Christian questioned the team, causing an array of agreements to ensue along the table.

After the team and Solana ate breakfast at the hotel's buffet restaurant, they all decided it would be best to disperse and go complete their errands before this evening's race.

Once again, Max and Solana found themselves in the elevator together, alone.

"Do you have any plans before the race?" Solana questioned Max to fill the silence.

"Yeah. I'm gonna meet with my trainer in about an hour or so. How about you?" Max informed Solana.

"I'm not sure. I'll probably meet up with Daniel or something." Solana informed him.
