The kiss that almost happened between the Mexican actress and the Dutch driver was continuously replaying in both of their minds; like a broken record.

Being the over thinkers that they both were, they dissected every minute detail about the situation.

Max had mentally cursed at himself all night long whilst Solana paced the living room floor of her hotel room, both losing sleep over the mere possibility that they had ruined their relationship.

The only thought that made Max feel sane and hopeful that he hadn't ruined things with Solana was the mere fact that she had leaned in as well for the kiss.

A part of Solana had felt an immense amount of relief with the fact that the pair hadn't kissed.

She wanted to kiss him, but she also understood more than anything that the stakes were way too high for the both of them—that things would just get too complicated between their personal lives.

The day of free practice had arrived and Solana was feeling more than grateful for the fact that all of the drivers who were staying at her hotel had to report to the circuit earlier than the start time of free practice, meaning that Solana wouldn't be bumping into Max anytime soon—not if she could help it.

Solana, Florencia, and Daniel were currently walking around the paddock area, conversing amongst themselves and even greeting some fans to pass the time whilst the teams prepared themselves for free practice.

"Hey, what ever happened to that girl you met at the beach the other day?" Daniel curiously questioned Florencia, remembering how the redhead appeared to have enjoyed the company of a random woman she had met on the beach.

"We hung out yesterday while Solana and Max were out, but I don't really see it leading anywhere else since we're both not from here. We're just having some fun." Florencia suggestively informed him, sparing him of all the sensual and minute details.

"I hear you. Long distance can be a big stressor in a relationship, and it's definitely not for everyone." Daniel knowingly advised her from experience, causing both women to take note of his advice for their own personal benefits.

"Well, you and Heidi seem to manage just fine, or am I sensing some trouble in paradise?" Solana confusingly questioned Daniel.

Granted, the Australian's relationship appeared to be quite healthy to the public eye, but things could be quite the opposite behind closed doors.

"No, Heidi and I are fine." Daniel reassuringly stated, chuckling in realization at how his choice of words sounded to an outsider who was looking to stir the pot.

"I've came to you many times before for advice. You know how the distance has gotten too much for Heidi and I to handle at times." Solana nodded her head in remembrance, remembering all of the times Daniel had came to her with his relationship problems because he needed her unbiased advice.

"How long have you guys been together?" Florencia curiously questioned Daniel.

"About four years now." Daniel proudly stated with that big toothy smile of his that everyone adored so much. It could light the darkest of rooms.

"What are your secrets?" Florencia humorously questioned the Australian, causing the trio to erupt in laughter.

In the midst of all the laughter, Solana had briefly turned her head, only to do a double take when she noticed that Max was approaching them with a smile on his face.

Upon seeing the Dutch driver's face and even making eye contact, she felt her heart rate increase along with an anxious feeling in the pit of her stomach forming, causing her to physically tense up.
