After politely declining the doorman's offer to assist her with her luggage, Solana entered the hotel. She didn't want to come off as rude but she didn't exactly trust strangers with her belongings.

At first glance, the hotel looked like it catered their services to the most luxurious travelers, and they did, seeing as the majority of the motorsports teams had been staying here prior to this weekend.

Solana was more than willing to stay at a more incognito and less expensive hotel, but Sergio and Christian insisted otherwise. It was a safety precaution on both of their parts because at the end of the day, she was a woman traveling alone.

Solana patiently waited in a short line before it was her turn to be attended by the front desk. She checked into the hotel and grabbed her room key before taking off towards the elevator.

She entered the elevator alone and pressed the number of her designated floor which was number 4. Solana wasn't aware of which drivers were staying on which floor but she knew her dad was on the floor below her.

Upon exiting the elevator, she noticed how there was a sign that listed the direction in which a persons room was in. Rooms 300-360 were located on the left side of the floor and rooms 361-420 were located on the right side of the floor so, she walked to the right.

Solana mentally counted down the numbers of the rooms that were plastered on plaques beside their doors before she reached hers. Room 410.

She inserted her room key into the electronic lock and it flashed green, granting her access to the room. She grabbed the door handle and pushed the door open.

Upon entering the room, she was greeted with a breeze of the cold air conditioned room before she closed and locked the door behind herself.

Solana left her luggage by the door and walked over to the living room area. She grabbed the curtains and drew them open, seeing as the room was too dark and gloomy for her liking.

The curtains hid a series of big windows that a bachelor pad would have. The way the sunlight reflected off of the white walls made the whole room feel brighter and cleaner.

The living room area consisted of a white L-shaped couch, a glass table in the center, a television that she knew she wouldn't use during her stay, and other knickknacks.

Beside the living room area there was a decent sized kitchen. The counter tops were white marble and the cabinets were the same white as the wall.

Solana grabbed her luggage and wheeled it into the room that she would be staying in for the weekend.

Her room consisted of a king sized bed, a dresser at the foot of her bed that was leaning against the wall, a television, a closet, the only bathroom, and even a balcony. Her room followed the same color scheme as the living room and kitchen area.

She ecstatically walked over to the sliding door of her balcony and stepped outside to admire the view that sat just right outside her room. Her hotel room overlooked the whole city and it was absolutely breathtaking. She could only imagine how much better it looked at night.

After spending a few minutes outside on the balcony taking pictures and even posting one on her Instagram story, she stepped back into her air conditioned hotel room and pulled out her phone to message her father.

"Ya llegue. Me voy a meter a bañar. Llamame cuando estas listo para salir a comer." Solana hit send, not expecting a quick response since she knew her father was busy at work.

Translation: "I'm here. I'm gonna go take a shower. Call me when you're ready to go out to eat."

Solana lifted her luggage onto her bed and zipped it open so that she could grab her bathroom essentials.
