I went to the nearest inn, and I rented a room there. The room wasn't so bad. It had a bed, a night stand, and a nice view of the river. I put my bow on the bed, but I kept my sword on. You might never know when you need it. I went down to the bar, and I sat down at the counter.

A bartender went over to me and said, "How may I help you?"

Not looking up, I said, "I would like a beer."

Within seconds, a cup of beer was placed in front of me.

"That would be three pieces." said the bartender.

I took out three pieces, and I placed it on the counter. The bartender took the pieces, then slid the cup toward me. I caught it, and I took a sip. The beer made me shiver, and it had a nice tang to it. I smacked my lips, then drunk down the rest of it. I burped, then I slid the cup to the bartender

"Thanks." I said.

"No problem. Hey, aren't you a little young?" He asked.

I looked up to him, and said, "Why do you think that?"

"Maybe because you are a little small." He said.

I shook my head, then went up to my room.

I went to sleep almost immediately, but when I woke up, I felt horrible. I opened my eyes, and sat up. I recognized the person in my room slowly, but I did. I slowly reached for my bow, but I felt that it was gone. I then reached for my sword.

"Don't you even try." I heard the person say.

I stopped, then I slowly got back into my sitting position. I recognized the person as a girl because of her voice, and her body outline. She also has a mask on, so I couldn't see her face. I could also see that she took my bow and arrows.

"So, what's a girl doing out at midnight?" I asked.

I dodged the knife the moment it took flight. I reached up to get it, but the girl stopped me.

"Move again, and I won't try to miss." She said.

"Oh? So you weren't even trying?" I asked.

"Just shut up and give me ten pieces." She said.

I got up, went to my pouch, and took out ten pieces.

When I put my hand out, she took them, then put a sword tip to my neck.

"Don't say a thing about this, got it?" she said.

"Sure. As long as you give me my bow and arrows back." I said.

She dropped the bow and arrows, then ran out the window. I walked over to the window, and I muttered spell.

"Reh kcart."

I could then see her footsteps, and her. She flew across the rooftops, not having a single flaw in her step. She stopped at the edge of the forest, then she looked back at me, even though she was on the other side of the village. She blew a kiss, then ran off.

"Smart girl..." I muttered.

No one has ever gotten past me, even when I am drunk. She was special for some reason.

I shook my head, and went to pick up my bow. It was in good shape still, and none of the arrows were broken. I then went to my sword, and saw it was still in good shape. I went to bed, but I remembered one more thing.

The dagger.

I took it off the wall from where it was, and I turned it in my hands. It was made of pearl, and it had an inscription. The inscription said,

"Angel Killer"

I turned the dagger in my hands again, then put it on the night stand. I got in my bed, and went to sleep, thinking that that girl was not a normal person.
