"Hsup." I said, for maybe the hundredth time.
I couldn't get a wink of sleep, and the only thing I could entertain myself with is swinging in the hammock, and practicing feeling people with my mind. Every minute or so, I would check to see if Penelope was coming back.
They never did.
I checked this time, with my eyes open. I felt the guards, but nothing else. Then, I heard shuffling. I got up, and I felt out for Penelope. She was there, but just barely. I froze, and the guards threw Penelope in. they closed the door, and I unfroze. I jumped off the hammock, and I rushed over to Penelope.
She was out cold, and she had cuts all over her. I picked her up by the arms, and I dragged her over to the hammock. I then lifted her into it, watching for her cuts to heal as she said they would. After a minute or so, her wounds began to stop bleeding. Then, they began to close up.
"Come on, come on..." I said, holding her hand.
When her wounds healed, she began to breathe more. Then, she slowly regain conscious. She shot open her eyes, then looked around. She suddenly tightened her grip on my hand.
"Hey, hey, hey, it's just me." I said.
When she saw it was just me, she began to relax. Her grip slowly relaxed, and she sighed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I-I d-don't want t-to talk a-about it..." she said.
I nodded, then said, "You need to rest."
She nodded, then said, "Yea, I do...I do..."
She trailed off, then fell asleep. When she fell asleep, I went over to the corner, and I sat down and slept.

"Can you fly?" asked Clint.
"No." I said.
"Then today is your lucky day." said Clint.
I looked at him, and I said, "Why?"
"Because I will teach you." He said.
The room suddenly began to form into a cliff, but everything was still white.
"Now, to make things easy, I'll give you a head start." said Clint, placing a hand on my back.
"Why would-"
The next thing I knew, I was over the edge of the cliff. Instinctively, my wings began to flap. I hovered there, suspended in midair.
"No, no, no. That won't do." said Clint, shaking his head.
"Em ot emoc." said Clint.
I slowly came back to the edge of the cliff. Clint muttered a spell, and my wings disappeared. Clint smiled, then said, "Now, let's try that again."
"Am I going to jump off, or-"
I got pushed over the edge again.
I screamed as I plummeted toward where the ground should be. But it didn't feel like I was moving anywhere. I looked up and saw that the cliff was right behind me. I slowly looked back down toward where the ground should be coming at me.
"Are you going to even try?" asked Clint.
"What am I supposed to do?" I asked.
"You should know." said Clint, sitting down.
I looked down, and I searched my mind. It could be some sort of jump-slash-fly thing. Or it could be me controlling the wind. Or I could-
"Oh, for heaven's sake, don't think, do!" said Clint
"But you always said not to do that!" I said, looking at him.
"Don't think! Do!"
"But-"
"DO!"
I suddenly just willed myself to fly over to Clint. I suddenly saw ground under my feet, and Clint against my back. I knock him over, causing me to fall off balance. I rolled over and over as Clint got up and dusted himself off.
When I stopped, I was really far from Clint, and Clint was walking over to me. He finally stopped right in front of me. He helped me up, and then dusted me off. He finally said, "Think before you do, next time."
I woke up to the sound of Penelope screaming. I was in the cell still, but there were guards all over the place. I was about to get up, but I was forced to the ground.
"Take them to the king. He asked for them." said a voice.
I was lifted by the arms, and dragged out of the room. Penelope frozen beside me. I mouthed the words, we will be ok to her, and she seemed to understand. I was then frozen, and we went to the King.
