I'm standing in the bathroom, my mask in my hands as I looked down at it. It has been at least two years since I woke up into this life, with no memories of the past, my identity, family, friends, nothing.
I remember how I woke up in the twin size bed in the middle of my room, pressed against the wall across from the dark door. I was wearing a black night gown, laying paralyzed on the bloodred covers of the bed, staring out into the abyss. I stayed like that for hours until he just appeared.
He loomed over me, taking in all my features, every inch of my body. I could just stare into his eyes, my gaze looming over his eight mouths, though he only spoke with seven: "You're awake." His voices dark and obnoxious. "Good..."
After that altercation I started my life how I know it is today.
It's a small room I'm forced to live in. It has a dark wooden wardrobe at the left side of the door, the black bed with blood ed covers, blood stained and crumbling stone walls, and a mirror up against the wall at the right of the door. The floor is just cold and old creaking floorboards, bloodstained of course. The only lights in my room are black candles burning a bright flame scattered around the floor.
There was a knock on the door. "Ms. (Y/N)? Zalgo wishes to see you." A fermiliar female voice sounded.
I looked up into my reflection in the mirror, observing the outfit I'm forced to wear every day. It's a black blouse with black skinny jeans, a red bowtie and a red armless cardigan. I also wear neat black shoes with little heels.
I reluctantly put the mask I was holding on. It's a black bunny mask that has bloody tears drawn from the eyes straight down, it has eyeholes which my (e/c) eyes could only be visible for. As for the details on the mask it's just matte black with an old white nose with mouth and whiskers drawn into it, resembling a sad rabbit.
I sighed again before leaving my room, closing the door behind me.
I walked through the dark halls with my hands folded behind my back and moving in the same speed, on the side of a red carpet since only the most elite Pasta's and demons are allowed to walk on them. The torches attached to the walls shine bright, just enough to show me where I'm going.
I was alone, it was quiet, too quiet... Normally the castle would be filled with laughter, screams, and overall just talking.
I entered the throne room, a big dark room with a giant throne on a podium in the middle of it which Zalgo was sitting on, Lazari standing next to him. The sweet child had her hands folded in front of her, looking at me with those big innocent eyes. I've never seen her smile before, the poor child.
I walked up to the throne, kneeling down in front of Zalgo and keeping my head low. "You wished to see me?" I asked the man.
Zalgo stood up, folding his hands behind his back as he looked down on me. "Yes, I sure did, Bunny." He spoke that name as if it was some kind of disease. He walked down the stairs that led up to his throne.
I gulped, knowing I was in trouble for some unknown reason.
"I had heard from trustworthy sources that you've been snooping around in the kitchen, are those allocations true?" He asked me, going straight to the point.
My head jerked up towards him, but I quickly lowered it since I knew I'd be in more trouble if I looked at him. I took a deep breath, knowing that if I lied my punishment would only get worse.
"Yes, sir." I answered, sounding defeated.
I heard the demon king growl before pacing around me. "And why did you Snoop around in the kitchen?" He asked sternly.
"Because I was starving, sir." I answered truthfully. I wasn't able to eat for a week straight, I was already hallucinating and throwing up, I had to eat something otherwise I would've died.
He suddenly grabbed my throat, lifting me off the ground. As I grabbed his hand which was around my neck fear started to fill my eyes. I heard Lazari gasp, her hands quickly moving in front of her mouth.
"You're a pathetic human..." He said to me, sounding disgusted. He threw me away, having me land meters away from him hard on the cold stone ground.
I gasped in pain as I felt all the air inside my body get slammed out of my lungs. I rolled over onto my side, desperately trying to catch my breath again.
"You humans are good for nothing! You make me wonder why I accepted that deal with Slenderman!" He shouted at me, he was furious.
Suddenly I went quiet, memories flooding back about the faceless demon as soon as I heard his name. "Slenderman..." I mumbled, a light purple glint moving over my eyes for just a split second before disappearing.
I remembered most of the interactions I had with the Slenderman, most bad.
Moments passed and I still didn't get up, making Zalgo scoff. "Pathetic." He said again before returning to his throne. Though Lazari walked up to me, it looked more like little hops and it was really cute honestly.
"Bunny?" She asked in her soft and sweet voice, shaking my shoulder carefully. I looked up at her, but failed to give her a reassuring smile.
"Lazari, darling, leave the human alone." Zalgo ordered his daughter.
I sighed and sat up right, rubbing my head. Lazari looked at me, giving me a quick kiss on the cheek part of my mask before running towards her father again. My heart melted when she did that.
Quietly I stood up, bowing to the king before quickly speeding off back to my chamber.
