"Just Like Me" {Eyeless Jack x Reader} (sequel to "All Eyes")

#5; Are you lost, bbg?

I lifted my head, seeing a new face had saved me.

Hobo Heart.

My face had been in his chest which is why I suddenly saw black.

Hobo held me tight as he flew away from the mansion, deep into the forest. "Hobo! What are you doing?!" I asked him, having to yell to let my voice be hearable over the loud wind blowing around us.

"Saving you." He simply answered, not slowing down as he continued to fly deeper into the forest.

I held tightly onto him as we flew, with no idea where we were going or what was going to happen next.

Eventually when Hobo thought we were far enough he steadily stopped flying and landed on the mossy forest ground. He was still holding me though. I looked up at him as he put me up in a tree.

"W- What are you doing?" I asked him, fearful chuckled escaping my lips.

"Saving you." I simply answered again.

I looked at him in confusion, but before I could say anything he spread his wings again. My eyes widened, "Hobo! Don't you dare leave me here! Bring me back to the Slendermansion! Bring me back to Jack! EJ!" I told him, attempting to climb out of the tree without falling.

I saw his eyes softening, a small smile appearing on his lips. He flew a little bit up so he was just a bit higher than me, moving closer to me to cup my cheek in his hand.

I stared up at him, confused and surprised by his touch.

"Love always finds each other back." He told me in a calm voice.

And with that he flew off, leaving me alone in a dark and dangerous forest.

I let out a shaky breath, jumping down from the tree and landing on my feet but dropping through my knees, causing me to do a front roll as soon as I hit the ground only to get back up on my feet again and walk off.

It was cold in the forest, and it didn't quite help that I was just wearing Jack's shirt and some of Jack's shorts.

As I walked back in the direction I believed I had to go for the mansion I started to wonder why I wasn't allowed to go into the forest.

I heard a twig break behind me.

Well apparently I'll find out why in not too long.

I turned around in the direction where I heard the twig break, backing away towards a big tree and hiding behind it.

"(Y/N)~" I heard a familiar voice call out through the forest, stepping closer. The voice is cold, devoted to any emotion, it sounded almost unreal, but it was Jack's.

"(Y/N), my dear, I know you're here~!" He chuckled.

I peeked from around the tree, seeing an entity that looked a lot like EJ. But it wasn't him, that's impossible.

A mimic, maybe?

There's no other way, it has to be.

"(Y/N)~" He started again, his voice sending shivers down my spine.

I listened to how his footsteps seemed to grow distant once again, peeking around the tree to see that he indeed was gone.

I started to run into the direction of the mansion, as I did so I started to feel paranoid. Paranoid that the creature knew I was here and where I was heading. I was paranoid he was watching me, following me every move.

I shook my head, trying to shake the feeling off as I kept running.

Hobo took me way too far into the forest, it'll take days to get out at this rate!

As I ran I eventually spotted Jane, tied against a tree with a cloth in her mouth to keep her from screaming for help. I ran up to her, untying her and removing the cloth. "Jane! Oh my God! Are you okay?" I asked her as she fell into my arms, her mascara running down her cheeks because of all the crying she did. 

"I'm fine! We have to get out of here!" She told me, grabbing my hand and running with me towards the Mansion. "LJ had tied me up here, we're not too far away, we can still get there before the mimic - or worse - finds us!" She told me, her voice sounded desperate. 

Worse? I questioned myself.

"Jane~" We heard LJ's voice from deep inside the forest. His voice was cold and emotionless, the unreal touch to it betrayed that it was the mimic again. "(Y/N)~" It sounded again, but this time it was Jack's voice. 

My eyes widened in fear, I grabbed Jane's hand tighter in mine and sped up slightly, my legs burning and my heart racing. "Come on!" I told her as I pulled her along, the uneven forest ground trying to trip us along he way. 

Not so soon enough we finally saw the foundation and lights from the mansion peeking out from between the trees, it was still far away but at least we got closer.

But the mansion wasn't the only thing that was coming closer. 

"(Y/N)~! Jane~!" The mimic started yelling, the voice was way closer than before, it had mashed the voices of Jack and LJ together. In the corner of my eye I saw Jane looking behind us, she started screaming bloody murder and sped up as well, tears streaming down her cheeks once again. 

"Don't look behind you!" I told her, a bit too late of course. We kept running.

And running.

And running..

And running...

Until we heard Jack's actual voice calling for me in the distance, in front of the mansion. His voice was accompanied with those of Jeff, Toby and Liu who were also calling Jane's name. 

"We're here!" I screamed, approaching them. Jack and Jeff noticed us first and ran towards us as well, catching us in their arms. "Duck!" Toby yelled, throwing his hatchet at the mimic who was apparently still chasing us. 

I looked back right as the hatchet got planted into its head. The being was a dark dirty brown, skinny, black stringy hair, empty eye sockets, rotten teeth and long broken fingernails. It screamed in pain as the hatchet got slammed into its forehead, falling backwards. Right when it hit the ground it dissolved into dust.

I was shaking, my legs felt weak from the running, and I was tired. Oh so tired. My breath hitched in my throat right before I collapsed through my legs, into Jack's arms. 

"Easy, easy, it's okay, I have you now." I heard Jack's calming voice as he calmly sat down on the ground with me. 

"Never again, please, never again." I heard Jane plead as she hugged Jeff. I looked up at my cousin, grinning as I saw him comforting her. He glared back down at me with a look that said "Don't you fucking dare..."

Toby and Liu approached the four of us, trying to comfort us as well. 

"WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?!"
