Even after all that happened, I hadn't expected them to end their lives like this.
The only difference from last time was; they're not coming back.
We're sitting in a flower field, all of us. I can see Jane crying into Jeff, while Liu is trying to distract Sally from the sorrow. Clockwork and BEN are quiet, staring at the two graves.
The others didn't know them enough to hurt like we do.
I looked up at Slenderman, who had put his hand on my shoulder. "You weren't invited," I told him harshly, wiping my tears away.
He didn't say anything in return, he just removed his hand, fading out of existence it seemed.
We've been weeping for three days straight now, seeing them being crushed by blazing wooden beams from the place we used to dare call home had traumatized us more than we already were.
I took a deep breath, walking up to the two graves.
The left grave was (Y/N)'s. White roses were placed to represent her purity, two, one for her and one for Jack. The tombstone was a simple diamond shaped one, with the text:
(Y/N) (L/N)
??? - 2023
Even her golden heart couldn't save her from heartbreak...
A great person, but an even greater friend.
The right grave was Jack's, with instead of white roses they were black to represent his soul, two as well, one for either of them. His tombstone was an upsidedown heart, with the text:
Eyeless Jack
??? - 2023
She made his heart beat again, only to make it cold once more...
A great killer, but an even greater lover.
I crouched down in front of the graves, placing a red rose on either grave. It represents the love of us to them, and the love they felt between each other.
I stood back up, looking at the light of the sunset from behind us gracing the graves in the beautiful colors of flames.
"If there is a God, please take care of our friends. That's the only thing I pray for," I whispered, looking into the sky as a tear escaped my eye.
"Save their withered hearts."
