𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧. She didn't want to try and find Ghostface. She wanted to never see the dreadful thing again.

But since when did anything go her way.

She was now sat nervously, next to Chad, in the van. Her head was rested on her boyfriend's shoulder, his hand around her waist. She had her eyes closed, trying to dream about what her life would be like without the disruption of Ghostface.

However, her rest was rudely interrupted by the noise of munching next to her. She opened her eyes, only to glare at the disruptive boy.

"Want some?" Ethan offered her the bag.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "No, thank you."

"So we're really doing this phone tracing thing that never works in the movies." Mindy questioned Kirby. Beside Aurora, Chad was mimicking his sister, earning a smile from Aurora. Chad grinned at the sight. "It'll be all, 'keep him talking, Sam. Two more minutes', and then he hangs up just before we can get a lock."

"I can trace a call in under 15 seconds." Kirby deadpanned. Chad raised his eyebrows in surprise and Aurora tried to hold back a laugh at Mindy's face.

"Well, you've got them out there as bait." Mindy continued.

"Because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby." Kirby replied.

"And you think they're safe because it's broad daylight." Mindy tilted her head at the blonde woman.

"Look, I am here, okay? And so is Bailey." Kirby tried her best to convince the girl but she wouldn't budge.

"This is exactly how our Uncle Randy died. Broad daylight. Public place. Yanked into a van. Stab, stab, stab. No more Randy." Aurora widened her eyes at Mindy.
