It was at school, I was heading to the cafeteria, going from the path outside our building by the field.

On the way there, I seemed to see two familiar faces of some sort. I decided to walk closer out of curiosity, and, well, because the cafeteria was that way.

As I got closer, I had realized that those two familiar people were my best friend, and my ex. They seem to be... Awfully close. Not as in "friend close" but more on as if they were dating..

I tried to approach them, but as I try to spit out my words, I realized that they were flirting and I was soon speechless. The two noticed me;

"O-Oh!... Rhia! Hii.. Kamusta?"

Mei tried to greet me, but she gave off rather an awkward vibe.

"Kamusta??? Kamusta??? Galing mo naman mag small talk, Mei. Ano 'to?"

"Rhia, I can explain naman ah.."

Mei tries to clarify.

"Rhia. . ." Sora adds on.

"Wag na. Di naman kailangan ng explanation ah, I can read the stituation clearly."

"Rhia ano ba!"

"What? Are you two dating? Is that the case?"

". . ."

"Napatahimik ka. So totoo?"

"Rhia let Mei explain."

"Don't try to get involved, Sora. I don't want a word out of your mouth."

"Mei, alam mo naman na ex ko yan, diba? Alam mo anong nangyari saaming dalawa. You know the pain I had to go through when I was with that man. And now this?"

"I know, Rhia. I know. But I gained feelings for him when we started interacting with each other. Understand me."

"Why are you so angry anyway. It's not like both of you are still together. Or perhaps you haven't moved on from him. is that it, Rhia?"

I was left stunned, not knowing what to say. I quickly tried to make up an excuse to cover up what Mei said.

"N-No! I've moved on already. Perhaps, I'm already with someone else, I just haven't told you yet."

Those words spat out of my mouth, not even knowing what I just said.

"Oh? Really? Who?".

I then tried to think of someone, but the first person who came up to my mind was my enemy, Jungwon. Without hesitation I said his name.

"Y-Yang Jungwon! Oo, sya."

Mei and Sora looked at me weirdly.

"Jungwon? Isn't he your enemy? Weird."

Sora comments. Mei adds on,

"Oo nga, ang odd naman... Bahala ka na nga jan."

The two of them leave the scene and I was left alone standing like an idiot, trying to process what I had just said.

"Wait lang. . . SI JUNGWON???!! HUY RHIA SIRAULO KA. I DO NOT WANT TO INTERACT WITH THAT MAN, KAHIT NANG CLUB PRESIDENT SYA."

I panicked. I then try to rub it off, and proceeded to the cafeteria, still feeling stupid.

I noticed the group chat, slightly complaining.

"Eishh, ano ba yan. Meeting na naman? After lunch? Gusto ko lang naman kumain ng maayos eh. Nakakairita talaga 'tong Jungwon na 'to."

Oo, sasali ako sa meeting. •

Jungwon
• Good. See you all later.

"Grabe maka hey, *tch. See you all later yung mukha mo Yang Jungwon. Di ko nga gusto makita yung mukha mo eh. Your whole existence even."

"Di mo gustong makita mukha ko? Ang pogi ko naman, sayang."

Jungwon appeared behind me and answered my statement, without me even knowing that he had heard what I said.

"Ha? Ay gago ka Won."

"Pogi ka jan, in your dreams."

"In my dreams? Ah, baka ma abot din yan sa panaginip mo. Kaso nga lang, ang panget mo dun."

"Inamo."

"Inamo din."

"Sige na bahala ka jan, I'm not wasting my time on someone who isn't worth talking to."

"Ang ingay mo, motor ba yung bibig mo?"

Jungwon walked away with no response. I simply gave him a side eye and went on to order my food to eat for lunch.

Later, 1:00 pm

Me and the other club members gathered around the club room for the meeting, then Jungwon arrived to assess some matters and activities.

After the meeting, I suddenly remembered the incident that happened during lunch time, and tried to approach Jungwon about it.
