I then saw Jungwon walking away, about to exit the room. I quickly walked up to him to approach him about the incident. I was starting to regret what I had said earlier.

I tapped his shoulder.

"Hoy, Jungwon."

He then turned around just to see me trying to arrange the correct words in order for me to tell him what I wanted to say.

"Yes? Do you need something?"

He replied in a formal, "professional" way. As if we weren't known enemies at school. I had no idea if he wanted to act cool in front of me, or was just being nice. But I doubt the second option.

"May sasabihin sana ako—"

"Bye."

He teased me. I just wanted to talk to him properly, yet he was there trying to make my blood boil.

"Jungwon! Hoy."

I shouted.

"Oh my god. Ano????"

"I know this is disgusting, but I need you to be my boyfriend for a few days, okay.. Even just for one day. Please."

He reacted to me, obviously looking disgusted.

"Ew, Rhia. Just because I'm the only guy you know, doesn't mean I get to "date" you."

"Hoy ah. Di lang ikaw yung kilala 'kong lalaki. Feelingera. I accidentally said your name when someone asked me who I was dating. . ."

"And. . . you said my name? Obsessed ka ba?"

I tried to explain,

"I couldn't think properly— Okay? The first person who came to mind was you. I regret saying your name, actually."

"Tanga."

He replied.

"Nanggagago ka ba? Isang araw lang naman, Won. It can be over after."

"Convince me."

"Amputek, Yang Jungwon. Wag nalang nga."

I said.

"Bibilhan ko pa sana yung favorite book mo. Hays."

I teased him. I then tried to leave the scene, when he suddenly grabbed my wrist.

"Oh?"

I didn't expect him to grab onto me. I guess that worked, It was rare to see him tempted.

". . ."
"Fine. But only for one day, Alright? Let's get this over with."

"HAH. It worked. You agreed just because you want to finally have your fav book. Bleh."

He looked at me, a bit angry.

"You do know, rumors may spread once people find out we're "dating", right? You can't just be slick about it."

"Well—"

I didn't think about rumors, until he reminded me of it. I didn't know what to do.

".. Yep. Here we go."

"Basta, I'll plan everything."

"Yeah, sure you will."

He replied, sounding like he was heavily doubting me.

Later that day, I was walking down the hallway onto the faculty pass some requirements. Mei walked past and stopped to talk to me.

"Ay, Rhia."

"Yes? May kailangan ka?"

I questioned.

"You and Jungwon are dating, right?"

She mumbled,

"A bit weird that you're dating your rival— Bahala na yun.."

"Ah.. Oo. Bakit?"

I replied.

"Well, I kind of... doubt you. No offense or anything, haha— But that's besides the point!"

"Mhm..?"

"The thing is, would you perhaps mind if I could plan us a double date? You know, Me and Sora, You and Jungwon, Yeah!"

I then looked at her with my eyes slightly squinted. If I declined, she would think me and Won weren't really "together". If I accepted, I would get to see my ex and my best friend. . . Eugh.

I hated what I was getting myself into. My only choice then was to accept.

"Ah, sure..? Kailan?"

"Really?"
"This Saturday."

"Mm, Alright. I'll ask Won if he's free that day."

"Sige, see you Rhi!"

She then walked right past me. I continued to walk towards the faculty for the same reason.

After I passed some requirements, I quickly got my phone to message Jungwon.
