Around 10-15 minutes later, Jungwon had spotted the other two from a distance. His eyes widened in realization.

I then felt a hand around my waist, and it led to me being pulled closer to Jungwon, resulting to me being against his chest.

It happened so quickly that I didn't know how to process.

"Ow!"
"What was that for—"

"I see Mei and Sora in the distance."

"Okay? Does that mean you have to suddenly pull me closer to you? You could've warned me before doing so."

"Ah—"
"Right, sorry."

Being in the awkward situation we were in, out of no where I had the thought to wrap my arms around his body.

I didn't know how Jungwon reacted to my move, but in the corner of my eye, I had saw him just staring back at my head.

The wind was rushing through as this was happening.

"Uh"

I broke the silence.

"Are they coming closer?"
"Can't see."

"Yep."

Sooner enough, Mei and Sora had arrived. I let go of Jungwon and awkwardly greeted them.

"Oh yeah— Hi.."

Mei was looking at the both of us, her eyes going up and down.

"You—"
"You guys—"

"ANG CUTE NIYO!!!"

"What..?"

Jungwon wondered.

"You saw nothing. Anyways, how are you both?"

"We're both doing great!"

She smiled genuinly.

Sora was awfully quiet.

"That's good to hear!"

"Mhm!"
"Won, I see that paper bag you're holding! Is that a gift for Rhia?"

"Soraaa, why didn't you buy me a gift? You said you would..!" She faced Sora, looking quite devastated.

"Huh?"
"Oh, no."
"Rhia was the one who gave this to me."
"I have no idea what's inside."

"Oh!."
"Ah right,, right, she told me!"

I just nodded awkwardly.

"Mm, let's enter the restaurant now, shall we?"

We all agreed and entered the restaurant to book in.
