"This is awkward."

I mumbled

"Just act normal. If you act all weird like that, mukha kang kinidnap."

He replied back.

"Ay grabe ka naman sa kidnap. Edi okay, gusto mo clingy?"

He slowly looked at me.

"Huh?-"

I began to hug him tightly, as if I was a koala hugging onto a tree.

He side eyed me, starting to look like he was also feeling awkward.

"..."
"..Ew-"

He mumbled, awkwardly.

I pinched him, indicating that I was offended by the "ew".

"Ara...y.."
"Potangina Rhia, what was that for?"

He quietly complained.

"Ew ka kasi jan eh, I hug well noh"

"Do I look like I want you hugging me?"

I looked at him.

"Yeah!"

I replied in a teasing manner.

"I did not- Ayst bahala ka nga"

I giggled.

We arrived at the cafeteria.

"Ano gusto mong bilhin?"

He asked me.

"Mmm, siomai rice nga"

"Sige."

I looked amused. *Was he gonna pay for the food?*

"Linilibre mo'ko?"

"Oo, why wouldn't I? I love you lots."

I died inside just cringing to that reply.

"Aww, ang sweet mo naman!"

"Pff-"

He slapped my arm secretly so no one would see.

"Ingay ng mosquito."

"Aba?!"

"Joke lang naman,,,"

He did a fake giggle.

He was good at this acting thing, he's such a tryhard for that book.

I then find myself a table to sit at, while he was buying the food. Some students came up to me wondering what they had just witnessed.

"J-Jowa mo si Won????" "Yung sinabe niya!"

"Yes, bakit po?"

"Aba! Ang weird mo, Rhia! Imagine dating the guy you've hated all your life." "Pfft!"

My eyebrows furrowed.

"So? I'm the only person he wasn't nice to, and we still worked things out. Is it impossible for enemies to be suddenly together? No. Maybe you should find a love life first before judging me. At least he's honest about his feelings, yeah? Yeah."

They were left silenced, looking worried and somewhat offended. They then walked away without saying anything.

To my surprise, Jungwon had actually witnessed the whole scene. He was standing a few feet behind me, eyes lit while holding our food.

"Hm?"
"Oh, nandiyan ka pala."

". . ."
"O..o.."

He looked at me while walking closer to our table, setting the food.

"You saw and heard everything, did you?"

"Y-Yeah."

I tilted my head.

"Oh? Why do you sound and look so stunned?"
"I was defending you, no?"

"You-"

"Did amazing? I know right! Hehe."

"Yeah.."

He nodded slowly.

I was about to dig in, when my eyes targetted at Jungwon again.

"Mm?"
"Kain ka na tol."
"Na paano ka?"

"Huh?"
"Wala wala."
"Kakain na po."

I looked back at my food.

"Sige, eat well I guess?"

I chuckled.

"Ayan ka na naman."

I snickered at his comment. We then enjoyed our food peacefully.
