8. First Gift

Five days ago when I bumped into him, I never knew that he would be this kind. Who does that for a stranger? My be he was my guardian angel. I find myself sometimes looking at him for more than necessary, for example last night in the gym. When he was wearing a trunk top and his muscles were flexing while boxing.

I shouldn't think like that for him. He isn't into men and even if he was I was no match for him. He was someone untouchable which people like me can admire from afar but never touch it from up close.

That's not how you repay someone's kindness. I wish I could do something for him too, other than helping with meals. That's the least I can do to make myself useful for him. I saw him at the breakfast from afar. It's lunch time now, so I am planning to take it to his home office. Maybe I am using this as an excuse to see him. Well, you can't blame me, when in your weakest moment if someone shows you kindness, you kind of build a soft corner for them in your heart.

I knocked and heard a come in. I pushed the trolley inside. This time Jungkook was not alone, "Oh Taehyung what are you.... You brought lunch...." Hyunjin let out a lould sound.

I could hear Jungkook scoff afterwards, "I um... Thought it's lunch time hyung might be feeling hungry...."

"Wait...hyung? That's new." Hyunjin looked between me and Jungkook.

I didn't say anything neither did Jungkook, I silently arranged the table and started to move towards the door disappointed. Why I was even thinking of having lunch with him.

"Taehyung can you wait here for bit?" Jungkook said.

"Of course, hyung." I smiled and took a seat. I could see the surprise on Hyunjin's face looking between me and Jungkook, when he shook his head and continued.

"Look Jk we need to convince him to get this deal."

"Do you think I don't want it? It's first French brand that is going to be launched in Korea and I want flagship under Jeon Group. But what they are offering is quite less......." Jungkook sighed.

"I know there is not much profit margin but it would be a good impression for your image as CEO if you can secure this deal."

"But I have to keep in mind labor cost and all 38% is not justifying it."

"Min industries are good with 36% Jungkook..... If they get this deal from the French then it would not be good for your image." Hunjin said.

"I don't know.... I really want this deal to make a good impression on board directors. Namjoon is bringing in many profits and you know......."

"Marketing....." I spoke. I couldn't help but to put my point of view on table.

Jungkook and Hyunjin both looked in my direction, "What?"

"Marketing, hyung you can offer them marketing for the brand. Because they are a foreign company who has no significant marketing in Korea right now. If they market on their own they will have to spend extra 10% than any Korean company to attract the public. So, their profit cut will be less than 30%. So ask them for 50-55% along with marketing offer. If the brand promotion is done by your company that is Korean, the cost of marketing for you will be less leaving the profit around 45%."

"Woahhhhh.... You are genius.. Why didn't I think of that. He is right marketing done by Jeon Group will definitely cost less as we have well built reputation in national market."

"Yeah.... That is doable. I'll propose this and see what will happen." Jungkook said smiling.

"I feel like I am not required here anymore, so I'll take my leave and Jungkook as soon as you finish 'the lunch' call me. We have a talk overdue." I could sense the sarcasm in his voice.
