As you silently got ready to go to this party with shuji for some reason your nerves where staring to kick in, it's been a while since both of the two of you have hanged out together alone.

As for meeting up with the boy, he arranged to pick you at the front of your house at around eight o'clock. Walking down towards the door, trying not to get your mums attention on why leaving so late you tried your best but wrongly failed...

y/n pov

-Where do you think your going this late?- I hear my mother say behind me from where I was standing

I turn towards her and she's in that motherly position when your kid is acting wierd, her arms crossed while taping one of her feet in the floor waiting for me to answer

-Im just going for a walk.- I say with the most suspicious face a person could ever use, I just hoped she fell for it.

As she raises her eyebrow in confusion, I looked at her giving her a comforting smile she just shook her head

-Okay just, tace care and don't get into trouble, and you better be here before eleven, got it?! - as I nod in a form of response, I take my jacket and head off

...

I begin to head towards our spot and see him sitting in a bench a few steps away from my porch

-This party better be good- I smile as I shove my hands into my pockets as I look down at him

As he grins and stands in front of me obviously now noticing the height difference and him looking down on me, he only chuckled

-trust me I'm hoping that too- he comments to then making a gesture to follow him

I roll my eyes and start walking.

As we enter the house party with kids at our school and different schools, as we looked around we accidentally made eye contact and immediately faced away from each other.

-Yoo shuji you came?!- said Andy coming out of nowhere to rap his arm around his neck

-Well I'm here so I guess so- Shuji said unbothered and with obvious sarcastic tone

-And I see you brought a friend...-he said facing me, with a questionable grin

As we settled in the party a bunch of people started talking to me, asking me where I came from and stuff like that.

I mean ay some point I couldn't find Shuji and got worried, after all I did come with him to this place without barely knowing anyone

While I scanned the room trying to find Shuji I noticed a boy looking at me to when he noticed I saw him, he immediately smiled

I just looked away and continued my search but was then interrupted by the same boy

-What's a girl like you doing here alone, are you looking for someone?- he said placing his hand in the table next to me to then leaning against it with his eyes on me the entire time

-I came with a friend, and yes. I am- I say still not looking at him

-Well what do you say that I help you find this friend of yours- he then moves to stand in front of me for me to finally see him face to face

Shujis pov

As I look around the party for y/n, I finally found her, she was next to the kitchen talking with someone, or more like she wasn't talking and the person was blabbering to her, but as I saw who that person was, my blood boiled.

Each time he got closer and closer to her, to then just directly standing in-front of her making her look at him. That was my sign to not stare at them and actually do something about that.

y/ns pov

As the sudden movement of this guy (that I don't even know the name yet by the way) startled me, I look at him and his so close to my face while looking at me in my eyes smiling

I felt my heart beat start racing but not in the good way... kinda like in a bad feeling type

And my instincts were right because a few seconds later a hand grabbed me by my arm to then pulling me away from the guy, I immediately recognized that face.

-there you are, I've been looking for you everywhere...- he says

-Well I was too- I respond back

As we start argue about who's fault was it, I forgot a certain someone was still standing there

-I'm guessing this was your friend- he said with a cold tone while looking at Shuji, as he did the same

I was gonna answer him back but didn't even have time to open my mouth to be dragged by the arm across the whole party to then exit it

-What the hell?? What was that about?- I say turning to Shuji with a confused look

-Why was he talking to you, and why was he being so close and flirty???-

I look at him even more confused, why was he so mad, what he jealous or something...?

I chuckle at my thought as he just looks at me

-Why are you even this mad about some guy taking to me? Does it bother you?- I ask getting closer to him, I could see how his expression changed by my reaction, he was staring to get nervous.

-And why aren't you home yet, there's allot of questions that need to be answered you know...-

What

I quickly look at the time and see that it's half past eleven and then remember my mothers exact words

"Okay just, tace care and don't get into trouble, and you better be here before eleven, got it?!"

-Shitttt, I'm in so much trouble- I say slapping my hands into my face of how stupid I feel for getting carried away and not check the time

I run passed Shuji as he just stood there

-This conversation isn't over!!- he yells as I just scream a "okay" to then continue running

...

When you left Shuji just sighed and covered his face with his hand embarrassed with a light blush, he knew what was the reason he was acting so mad... and he didn't know how to hide it anymore.

So yeah... currently writing this while landing from a 9 hour flight, and it's bumpy af (I'm terrified of planes) so hopefully I get my ass on land as soon as possible 💀
