1 year later.

Chris woke up later than usual since he and his brothers stayed up later filming a car video.

"Good Morning Mom," Chris spoke as he watched his mom make lunch, he sat on the stools as she responded "Morning Chris? It's one pm?" She laughed as he did the same.

"Okay... Good afternoon then," He joked as she laughed again. "What are you making?"

"Spaghetti. Wanna help?" Marylou said as he shrugged. "Where is your usual helper?" Chris said as he stood up.

"I think she is taking a nap," Marylou explained. "She woke up early this morning to go to church with me," Marylou explained why her daughter might be tired at this time.

"Oh. How was church?" He asked feeling a little guilty that he hasn't gone with her in a while. Marylou loved having all her children at church with them, she would usually take them out for breakfast.

"Great! I actually need to run something by you first-" Marylou started as suddenly you heard Madison squeal.

"Chris! Your awake!" Madison ran up to him and extended her arms so he would carry her. He smiled as he did so.

"I thought you were gonna sleep forever!" The seven-year-old exclaimed referencing the 3 times she went into his room to wake the boy up.

"Sorry Madi, I was just tired," He smiled at her as he put her back down. She smiled as she went over and hugged her mom.

"What are we making?" She sighed as she pulled out the stepper so she could see the counter and actually help.

She stepped on it and smiled at Chris.
"Spaghetti,"

"My favorite!" Madison squealed again.
"Madison, sweetie. Do you wanna tell Chris who you saw today?" Marylou widened her eyebrows as she thought that Madison's cute face could break the news better.

"Who? Dad?" She asked as Chris chuckled. "No... who did we see at church?"

"OH! We saw Marie!" Chris widened his eyes and avoided eye contact with everyone as his sister glared at him.

"And she looks so pretty! Her hair is longer and she remembered me!" Madison exclaimed smiling at Chris.

His hands rested on the counter as he closed his eyes cursing ever bringing that girl to this house.

"Why wouldn't she remember you?" Chris said trying to seem normal.

"Because she never comes around anymore," The little sister shrugged as he nodded.

"Except for that one time you left with Dad! and she came with Alahna and Aubree," Madison explained.

That happened a few months back, Chris remembers only agreeing to go golfing with his dad, just to not see the girl. Madi would not stop talking about the girl for weeks after that, it drove Chris crazy.

"Do you wanna tell her what you guys agreed on?" Marylou smiled wordlessly as her son. He had turned his head at his mother's words but just stared at his sister.
