matthew.sturniolo 'some rando' is even crazier
Chris went to sleep early and set a bunch of alarms to be the one who opened the door for Sarah, this morning not Matt. Since the day at the park, they haven't talked or hung out but he wanted to, he wanted to make things better. So when his first alarm rang, he almost bolted toward the door.
He looked at the time and realized she normally wouldn't be here for another thirty minutes. He laid in bed, closing his eyes, but now and then he would re-open them just to check the time. He was so dedicated to this that when 8:00 clock rolled around he stood up and quickly went to brush his teeth. He didn't want stinky breath and she could be here at any minute.
After brushing his teeth he walked over to his dresser putting on a hoodie that he remembers she used to love and steal all the time from him. He messed with his hair to make it look like he just woke up and this was his natural state, he didn't want to seem like he had done all this preparation.
Then he sat in his bed and waited... and waited and waited.
He scrolled through tiktok and sighed as he watched fan edits and other videos. What is taking that girl so much?
He walked downstairs and saw an air mattress lying in the middle of the living room. Nick and Matt sleeping on the couch and Sarah and Madi are on the air mattress. Since when is Sarah here, sleeping next to his sister?
Chris rolled his eyes as he walked closer to the girls, fixing their blanket that had fallen. He tucked them in. He sighed as he walked back upstairs.
Why didn't his brothers tell him?
He opened the fridge and got out a Pepsi, he sat down on one of the stools and opened a soda. "Good morning," Madi said next to him and he jumped up from the little girl startling him.
"What are you doing awake?" Chris asked as he heard more steps coming up the stairs. "You woke me up," She shrugged as he watched Sarah appear in the kitchen. "Good morning," She yawned looking around the kitchen. "Morning,"
It was 8:29, and Sarah was happy she slept a whole hour than she normally would. "Do you guys want waffles?" Sarah asked as Madi nodded, you could tell Sarah was still sleepy.
"You can make chocolate chip waffles," Chris said as Sarah turned to him. "Oh sure," She smiled as she noticed Madi's smile.
"I didn't know you were sleeping over," He said as he took some ingredients and materials for Sarah to use.
"Oh... yeah," She said not wanting to talk too much, because of her stinky morning breath, but Chris took this as she was mad. "I didn't mean it in a bad way,"
"I know," She smiled weakly and continued making the waffles. "Okay..."
It was so awkward that even Madi was weirded out. "You guys are weird,"
"Why do you say that," Chris asked as he took a swing from his pepsi. "The way you talk to each other," She scrunched up her nose as Sarah laughed. "Don't you wanna help Sarah with the waffles," Chris asked before Madi could keep talking and embarrassing him.
"Oh yes!" She said as she walked up next to Sarah.
"Do you need any more help?" Chris asked as he sat back down. "No," Sarah shook her head as Chris took another swing from his pepsi, causing Sarah to scoff.
"Pepsi at eight am in the morning is crazy," She laughed to herself mainly, as she kept instructing Madi on the waffles.
"You knew about this, Marie. Can't act like you haven't seen this before," He joked as she laughed again. "I know, I just hadn't seen it in so long... it's crazy. You have to admit it," Sarah said as he chuckled "Maybe just a little,"
Eventually, Chris started helping once Madi got bored and started coloring. "If my memory serves me well... your waffles are the best," Chris smiled as she finished cooking them and handed a plate to everyone.
"Hopefully, your memory doesn't fail you," She said as he watched him take a bite and his eyes widened. "They are good," He smiled as he took another bite.
"Something new for our bakery!" Madi said as all of a sudden Matt walked into the kitchen. "Chocolate chip waffles?" He asked as he grabbed one of the plates that Sarah had made for the sleeping siblings.
"Yep!" Madi smiled as she kept eating. "Thanks, Sarah. Did you say thanks Madi?" Matt said as he walked behind her and kissed her head. "Thank's Sarah!"
"Thanks," Chris said as she nodded.
"I'll be right back," Sarah smiled as she walked downstairs and left the siblings. "Why didn't you tell me she was staying over?" Chris whispered yelling as Matt chuckled. "You were asleep when Nick and I walked into your room. We didn't want to wake you up," Matt shrugged as Chris sighed.
"And you missed out on so much fun Chris!" Madi smiled as Chris smiled down at her. "What did you do?"
"We watched movies and then... I fell asleep but! It was fun!" Madison smiled as did Chris. "We can watch movies with Sarah, all together another day," Chris said as he heard people up the stairs.
"I woke Nick up... So his waffles wouldn't get cold," she admitted as Nick looked annoyed.
"Just put mine in the microwave... I am going back to bed," Nick said as everyone watched him walk to his room.
"I'm sorry," She mumbled with a smile on her face, trying not to laugh. "You're fine," Matt said as he noticed her guilty-looking face.
"I feel bad,"
"Don't! Nick gets mad at me all the time," Madison admitted as they laughed. Sarah stood next to Chris, unconsciously, and ate her waffles. Matt and Madi watched as Chris stiffened up and kept eating. " What are we doing today?" Matt said to his brother before Madi could talk and comment on how weird Chris was.
"Sarah and I had an idea for today!"
