She did not realise she was late for the dinner.

Spending her last moment with Felix and Seungmin made her lost in the time that she forgot the family wanted to have dinner together after two days of not seeing her and Jeongin.

Aeri walked as fast as she could to the neighborhood. There were night stalls around her which made the road a bit crowded. She had to push through to the opposite direction until she reach at the end of the stall. Finally, she got to breathe properly.

Well, she thought.

Just as when she wanted to continue running, she unexpectedly bumped onto a guy around her age.

Jeongin's neighbor.

Jisung's hand was full of plastic bags which he seemingly just finished buying groceries and fruits from the stalls. He was surprised to see her alone after a long time.

"Uh..." Aeri was a bit flustered especially after knowing everything that happened before she came here. It was only Jeongin who summoned her here and lost his memories, could it be Jisung's memory was still with him or it's faded as well?

Because if he still remembers it, Aeri wanted to leave as soon as possible. He was a threat.

"Jeongin's cousin... right?" unfortunately he managed to stop her before she could leave.

"Yes, I am." she tried to maintain her coolness in front of him.

"I never get to know your name." he smiled. The kind of genuine smile that could melt everyone's heart but not for Aeri. She still think he is dangerous.

She awkwardly scratched her head. "I never know yours either," she let out a fake laugh. What was she supposed to do when he possibly knows her origin?

"Ah, it's Jisung. Han Jisung."

"Aeri." she shortly replied. Not to make it obvious, she elongated the conversation while walking. Jisung followed suit. "Were you buying groceries?"

"Seems like it," he shrugged while holding up the plastic bag. Aeri felt like hitting her face right then and now. "Where were you from? Were you out alone?"

"I was meeting with my friends. We had a picnic earlier." she showed him the basket in her hand. "But I almost forgot my aunt wants us to have dinner together so here I am, actually running to get here."

They were approaching the familiar houses in the neighborhood, where they could see a few lanterns lit up as the sky turned dark. A few lampposts were on, illuminating the road dimly but it was not too scary since there were a lot of people outside.

"About that, for how long you are staying here? Don't you have school too?"

The question got her speechless. Aeri had never thought this question would come out of his mouth, out of all the people she knew. At this moment, she really wished for Jeongin to appear and warned him not to be nosy like how he did the other day. Aeri had no answer to this. She did not even know how the school system worked during this time and when she would be returning to her home.

The girl hummed, and Jisung kept waiting.

"Aeri!"

Thank god!

From afar, she could see a familiar figure standing a few feet away from the house. As if he could read her mind Jeongin actually appeared exactly when she wanted him to. Jisung seemed to be surprised at the sudden call but matched his steps with Aeri's increasing speed.

"Where did you go?" Jeongin asked, looking a bit frustrated. Aeri could only glanced to Jisung and raised both her shoulders.

"I was just at the flower field watching the sunset." she half lied. "And met your neighbor on the way here."
