Derek.
Despite having the advantage of three against two, or one right now, Derek was well aware that they were getting their asses kicked by the alpha twins. The only thing that made Derek feel any kind of relief was knowing that Peter and Stiles were able to get Cora out while the twins were distracted. He'd quickly learnt that it was going to take more than just him and a couple of teenagers to take down the alphas. He'd also learnt, very quickly, that Alex McCall had absolutely no shame in screaming profanities during a fight.
"Mother fucker!" Alex groaned as she pushed herself up with her arms after being thrown against the wall.
Derek wrapped a hand around her upper arm, pulling her to her feet. Once she was standing upright, Alex let out a long, exhausted sigh. Derek thought it was a little dramatic, but he sympathised with the exhausted feeling. He felt it, too.
"These fuckers just don't quit, do they?" Alex said, shaking her head.
Scott appeared at their sides, panting heavily. The twins stood a few feet away, seemingly unaffected by the fight.
"Come on guys, we don't have to fight," Scott said, holding out his hands.
"Speak for yourself," Derek growled.
"Ethan? Aiden? Is this really what you want? To do Deucalion's dirty work all the time?" Scott continued, ignoring Derek.
"All we want is her," the twins growled, gesturing towards a cowering Jennifer.
"And believe me, I'd love to give her to you," Alex said, holding out a hand. "But unfortunately, we can't do that right now."
The sound of the elevator doors closing caught Derek's attention. He, Scott, and Alex looked over their shoulders to find Jennifer no longer standing behind them. But Derek didn't have time to chase after her, not with the twins closing in on them.
"Either you give her willingly, or we kill you and take her," the giant alpha growled.
"Give it your best shot," Derek glared.
With that, Derek pounced. He dropped to the ground, sliding across the floor to take out the alpha. The twins stumbled back, caught off guard for a mere second, allowing the others to race past them.
"Go!" Derek yelled.
He had planned on staying to distract the twins. However, two sets of hands wrapped around him, heaving him off the floor. Derek turned to see Alex and Scott pulling him away from Ethan and Aiden. Derek stumbled slightly but quickly found his feet and followed them down the hall. Derek could hear the heavy, thundering footsteps of the Voltron wolf following them, but they kept running. Eventually, they found the operating theatre and crashed through the doors. There, they found Stiles and Peter. Cora lay on the bed, still unconscious.
"Keep going," Derek urged, nodding towards the second set of doors on the other side of the room.
But nobody moved. Instead, Stiles held up his bat, steadying his stance. The doors flew open, and the twins entered the room. Alex and Scott straightened their backs, readying themselves for another round. Peter stood in front of Cora, protecting her. Derek was prepared to take on the twins again, but before he could make a move, Stiles charged at the alpha, swinging his bat above his head. As the bat came down to its target, Derek watched it turn to dust from the force of the impact. The creature was completely unaffected, growling at Stiles.
"Oh, crap," Stiles muttered, backing away quickly to join the others.
"Now what?" Alex said, breathing heavily beside Derek.
