Jean x Reader: How far we've come. (Modern AU) [Book two of Love-Hate]

Chapter Seventeen.

Two weeks had passed. You were at your aunt's house. You had been at the school for the rest of the school year. You skyped Jean often. But, you still missed him.

You had been looking forward to this day. There was a surprise for Jean. You had suitcases as you were boarding the plane.

You woke up before you got off of the plane. Krista and her mom picked you up. You hugged both of them before you got into the car. Mrs. Lenz drove to her house.

Krista helped you get ready. She did your makeup and hair after you got into your dress. Krista made you wear matching heels.

You looked at yourself in the mirror and left with Krista. You would be going to prom.

You started walking. You felt everyone's eyes on you. Jean saw you and blinked. He couldn't believe you were here. You walked towards him. "Hi." You said when you saw him.

"Hey." He replied, smiling. "You look amazing." This caused you to blush slightly.

"Thanks. You look amazing too." You smiled.

"I'm glad you came." Jean hugged you.
You returned the hug. "I am too. I missed you so much."

Jean said, "I missed you more."

Suddenly, a slow song came on. Jean placed his hands around your waist. You hooked your arms around his neck as you two danced. You kissed him passionately. He returned the kiss. You smiled once the kiss ended. "I love you."

"I love you more." He said before he kissed you. You kissed back as you two continued dancing.
