So sorry about the massive delay I've just been so busy. Hope you enjoy the wedding as much as Charlotte will :)

So it's my big day and my mother is much more excited than I am. I mean usually when I'm excited I wake up very early but today I got up later than usual which doesn't make any sense at all. I woke up because I heard my mother squealing downstairs I can only assume that it is because of my wedding or 'my big day'. I had my breakfast as normal; well as normal as you can when you have your mother hurrying you up when you just want to enjoy your last day of being single. My mother actually helped me get ready this morning too usually she's 'too busy' doing nothing to even answer some of my very important questions. She got someone to do my hair in a beautiful bun type thing with plaits and sparkly bits in it before she got someone else to do my make up.

"Make sure that it's simple but more than a normal event because today is my baby's wedding, oh I can't wait for it" My mother shrilled before kind of dancing away into the dressing room I'm assuming to get my dress. I turned around to see my beautiful bridesmaids all in their dresses and cute shoes and clutches.

"Oh my ... You all look wonderful"

"Don't they just Charlotte"

"Certainly"

"Your turn Charlotte" My mother squealed again. I walked over to my mother who was standing there waiting for me to come with her. I just stared at my simple yet sophisticated wedding dress. Now the excitement has kicked in, I love the feel of it. "I can't believe my baby is all grown up and going off to get married in about two hours."

"Please, you can't believe it, how do you think I feel?"

"I have no idea sweetie". I stood up right and took one last look at my wedding dress before I put it on. "Today is going to be perfect mum"

"Good, if today isn't the best day of your life so far then something is very wrong"

"Charlotte your carriage waits for you"

"Literally?"

"You have to go outside to find out". I stepped outside of the castle thinking that Thomas would have got a massive carriage with white horses and everything and attracted all of the press. Not that the press don't know about my wedding anyway. Once being allowed to open my eyes I saw what I had expected... Well sort of... Actually not really at all apart from the carriage; I even managed to get the colour of the horses wrong. There were four chocolaty brown horses on each carriage and Thomas being Thomas thought about everyone so he organised two carriages for my myself, my bridesmaids and my whole family to all get into. We all stepped into the carriage and waved to all of the ordinary people who waved at us and gave us flowers and other presents that we really didn't need but I wanted them to feel as if their presents were appreciated. One present was a pair of baby shoes, what am I supposed to do with baby shoes? Do they think we're so poor that we can't afford to buy shoes for the new princess or prince that isn't even being thought about yet?

"Princess Charlotte would you mind answering a few questions?" Called out some random person that I've never seen before holding a camera and a microphone.

"It depends what the questions are" I was about to continue about the fact that I needed to get to my wedding but I was blinded by flashing lights and deafened by the amounts of questions that were being thrown at me, my lovely family and friends. The questions varied from:

"So where is your wedding being held?" To which of course I didn't have a clue so I just pretended I didn't hear it to "When are you planning on expanding your family?" I mean what kind of question is that? I ended up answering about three questions overall one of which was "Are you not worried about being killed on your wedding day by the same person that killed Thomas' mother?" I had to be confident with this so I just replied "This wedding is to make our countries stronger and less vulnerable so if that happens then we've got people on hand to prevent them" others were similar to that so I basically said the same thing again and again and again.

We finally arrived at the venue. It was beautiful and in the middle of nowhere, which was wonderful. Apart from the fact that I had butterflies flying for dear life I felt ready. My mother had given Thomas the 'talk of life' as I like to call it. This little talk consisted of how he should treat me and that he must look after me no matter what happens blah blah blah. As I stepped out of the carriage I didn't just feel the butterflies I also had the feeling that this wasn't going to be a good idea but it was probably just brides nerves so I walked up to the beautiful venue that had the biggest bricks that I think I've ever seen in my life and I've seen a lot of bricks. Usually I hate weddings because of all of the talking that goes in that actually doesn't involve you but this time I have a feeling that that might be slightly different.

As I nervously walked in everyone stood and gasped so much so I forgot about the butterflies flying frantically around my stomach.
"I don't think I'll ever be able to forget this moment." I whispered to myself while walking down the aisle. I stood at the front and just looked deep into Thomas' bright blue eyes. They captivated me like no other thing had before.

"The vows that you wrote were perfect Thomas"

"Well they'll never me as perfect as you" He smiled and picked me up off my feet and threw me into the air.

"I'm the luckiest woman alive" I said softly into Thomas' ear

"You won't be for long" He said sharply

"Why Thomas, I thought that you loved me?"

"I do it's just-"

"Here's the happy couple" My mother interrupted, couldn't she chose a better moment to interrupt us? We continued to walk hand in hand smiling and the crowds outside. This day started off so well and now I'm confused and I have a feeling something is going to very wrong.

"How was your day Charlotte?" Said one news reporter that I recognized from earlier.

"It was the best day of my life" I said proudly, maybe not very truthfully but as long as I said it enough I might start to believe it myself.

"And you Thomas?" Said the same reporter

"Does this tell you enough?" He lent over and kissed me. His heavy breath sinking into mine, maybe not the most romantic kiss but I'm sure we'll both improve. "Shall we get going my dear beautiful wife?"

As we walked towards the carriage I felt uneasy and had to hand onto Thomas for support.

"This reminds me of when I first met you Charlotte"

"What?"

"You had been sitting for such a long time that you couldn't walk properly so you had to hold onto your fancy car so you didn't fall over."

"Oh" I said quietly "I had forgotten about that"

"Oh, I see how it is so you can forget about the first time that you met me but I can't forget about you?"

"Yes that's how it works" I was about to continue but I heard guns being shot at the carriage behind us and screams coming from the crowd, but the scream that I heard loudest was my mothers.

Tell me what you thought please. As usual comments and votes are appreciated
